I now stand like a mighty ruler atop my Knight; if only there was army to rally here like I always used to do back in ny world. It's still hard to come to terms with the fact I an now in a world where the God-Emperor doesn't exist and so does my fellow comrades in arms. I wish I was in a War right now; it is much less worrisome on the battlefield since the rules are really simple, either you die or your
enemies die. And I am very good at making my enemies die. Here, I have no support, no friends, no resupplies, no Imperium to serve, but I do still have enemies. Rather joyous to think that I have a purpose in this world now, and that is to vanquish Sire Ignis Dei as to make sure that his plans to do evil shall never ever come to reality as long as I live in this world. I bathe in the sunshine for a few more moments before finally thinking about what I should to the hunanoid being before it wakes up. Wasting time by dawdling around on the carapace isn't a good start. Getting down from here is atleast something compared to doing nothing up here. A hand here and a leg there as I began to climb down from my Knight through inserting my limbs in spots that may or may not amputate me. Usually, there is suppose to be a machine that is meant to assist the Knight pilot whenever they find the need to disembark or enter the Knight but I no longer have any of those comforts when every single member of my family was burned to ashes in the flames of war or purged by the rival Houses on the home planet that I was banished from. So here I am, the last surviving member and this is the last Imperial Knight of House Phaeron, *THUD!* A small thud emanated from the spot where my worn out heavy duty boots impacted the dirt floor. I bring my right hand towards the holster and my hand comes back not a second after with the deterrent in it. Voila! A laspistol! It is a very rugged design than can go for years without maintenance, a self-sufficient magazine that can be charged by being soaked in a light source, a safety, and the most suprising part of the design is the power selector than adjusts my shots from non-lethal to lethal. *Click! Bzoot!* The safety is turned off and the laspistol is dialed all the way to the threshhold and it would be turned into a makeshift handgrenade if I were to dial it any further. I don't really practice using it much but I am a decent shot with it. Back in its holster it goes and my focus goes back to her. I crouch my body and hunch my back as I began to slowly step forward to the humanoid. *Chrrk, Chrrk. Chrrk...* The sound of that comes with each steps makes me wince as I cannot stealthily approach this creature. I tried to look for other paths but they are all the same kind of damnable crunchy dirt. What a great start! *Sigh.* Atleast she doesn't seem to bothered by my pathetic attempt at stealth. Hmmm, I should try to assess if she has any possible weakness I could exploit. A closer look reveals that she has a furred body like that of a well groomed pet that has never tasted the wilderness and shortcomings, this makes me think that she might be intelligient enough to hold a conversation if she knows how to speak either low or high Gothic. The two mounds of flesh on her chest most definitely denotes her as a female, not being perverse or anything it's just an observbation. Great, now I feel like some kind of Slaaneshi cult enjoyer. A quick prayer to the Emperor should fix this issue. I clasped both of my hands and knelt to pray, breaking the line of sight with this creature would be a tactical mistake since it could give her an oppurtunity to ambush me during prayer time. So I prayed with eyes wide open. Time to start praying. "My Lord, Master of Mankind, forgive me for- EEP!" She moved! The prayer can wait, it can definitely wait. I should move on and keep trying to find a weakness in her! Alright, she also bears some feline features such as a cat tail, ears, and face. lastly she is also wearing the same kind of clothes that reminds me of the Ignis Dei albeit with a different color palette with that being blue and red this time. A question pops up in head: do all of the psykers in this world wear the same kind of clothes? Well then, I must assune that this humanoid must be psyker too. Did I also mention that she has the body as most female guardsmen just without the dizzingly large assortment of battle scars. Now that I think about it, she does seem to resemble that one race of abhumans known as the felinids if my memory serves right. Maybe she is one? However, she isn't wearing clothes that I would see in any Astra Militarum branch which makes the chance of her actually originating from my universe slim. Maybe I should stop thinking about the imperiun that I cannot return to for once. Argh! Heretical thoughts! HERETICAL THOUGHTS! NONONONONONONO! NO! I AM NOT A HERETIC! Wait... Her body is moving slightly. I can see her eyelids fluttering too. And I hadn't devise a plan yet. How foolish of me.
