"Erm, hi!" I try to greet him jovially while knowing that he was able to know my name without even finding the need to ask me for it. If anything, it means that he is already in my mind and is able to read my thoughts. He still is a primitive though so he is most likely unable to understand technology. Just make sure I do things absent-mindlessly.
A flick of a switch here and there now I have him designated as a target for the point defense system; servos of the automated Icarus Anti-air turret whir as it turns to point its two barrels at him. Now, I have a failsafe in case things go wrong. I look towards the HUD where I see that his face has visibly soured. "He is aware." I think to myself as he instantly wiped it off and masked it behind a knowingly fake smile. "Ah, you have great caution Knight Pilot Luke. I find that admirable! Do not fret for I can assure you that I am not the kind of danger that you think that I am! But fear not for I do not wish to hurt you." A shiver goes through my spine as it is confirmed that he can read my thoughts. Just who is he? "And to answer your query. my name is Ignis Dei. Archwizard of this world! I am rather surprised by the size of your armor if you call yourself a knight! Tell me, are you a giant?" A response was quickly shot back to him. "No, Im not a giant, Sire Ignis Dei. I am a human just like you Sire." The old but rather frail looking psyker who may or may not hold the power to destroy me where I stood; smiles warmly at me. The gesture is rather unexpected but I still appreciated it. "Now. how did you know I was here?" He says it with genuine curiosity and slight care like how a parent would ask on how their child was able to perform an exceptional feat. I replied to him carelessly without a second thought and so came the consequences of doing something without care. "The mysterious entity which was nothing more than a voice that gave light to my situation did sire Ignis Dei." Suddenly his smile fades away. All emotions was drained from his face as he said the next phrase devoid of any emotion. I think I should've thought twice before replying to him, but what use is thinking twice if he can already read it? "Ah, you were sent here by them, hmm? No worries. You see, I am just like you. Sent to another world by that voice here. I did what was I told; I fought and killed many, and soon, I was more powerful than ever. I stopped obeying them and plan to go against them since I no longer enjoyed the position of being a servant to those ungrateful masters of mine. But this caused an issue. And so they have sent countless heroes that they summoned from other worlds to try and slay me, but I gave them the ultimate gift that freed them from the sufferings of life. And you, definitely won't be the last to earn my gift," It vaguely sounds like a threat, nerves began to fire as I started to do the weapon prep phase in lightning fast speeds that even the Knife-eared Aeldari would get jealous. The battle cannon was reported as greenlit by the sytem, then the heavy stubber, and lastly the Icarus anti-air autocannons didn't need to be part of it since it was activated a long time ago as as a failsafe against this abomination. Beads of sweat began to trickle lazily on my forehead without a care in this world as if a battle wasn't about to start. Oh, how I wish I was just a bead of sweat that can just do things without care or worry as I travel down a simple path of life! "death." Ignis finally finished the sentence and I think I would rather turn down his so-called 'gift' forcibly if I have to. The first and last attempt to de-escalate the situation was done even though the outcome was rather obvious. "Don't try to do anything Sire Ignis, this
noble warmachine has already slaughtered planets worth of enemies that
dare to seek the destruction of the Imperium. Don't make me turn you into an early gift to whatever foul deities you swore your allegiance to Sire." Weapons are primed and locked onto his small body. Wasting this much munitions on a single human isn't exactly what I would call a wise decision but this is no human but rather an abomination. *Eeeeeeee!* A monotonous sound emanates inside the cockpit notifying me that I am ready to release absolute hell on this psyker. "Emperor of mankind, grant me power to Prevail against this
filth!" The prayer was finished as I formed the Aquila onto my chest by crossing my two open palmed hands.
