Amber POV

"Ugh... I feel so dizzy..." I lay myself on the grass and look up at the blue sky to make myself relax because being a maid of the princess is so tiring! Ever since Everley made her grand appearance, every nobleman has been making her attend those stupid meetings, and the ladies keep inviting her to tea parties, and now Everley is hosting her own tea party here at the palace.

I left her with the ladies because I was too tired to just stand up and hear their baseless assertions. "I never hosted my own tea party, but I wonder if this is what Gesine feels like when she's taking care of me," I said to myself. It felt like those days when I was at my corporate jobs. "Sigh... is it too soon to miss my kingdom?"

"Oh! I caught a maid slacking off." I frowned when Zale blocked my view of the sky. "Please consider this my break time," I said to him, and he chuckled. "The role of a maid can be quite demanding."

"You don't need to emphasize it," I said as I stood up and faced Zale. "You're not supposed to talk to a mere maid, your majesty. Many eyes are scattered everywhere here." Since Zale is temporarily residing here at the palace, there's no day that he never stops bothering me. I feel stressed out lately because I never knew that this would happen.

"Haaaah!" A kick was approaching Zale, but he easily dodged it, and the one who made that flying kick was the princess herself, Everley. "What are you doing to my lovely maid?" Everley shouted at Zale, and I was starting to get stressed out again because this is what I've been experiencing for these past few days.

"I was checking in on her to see if she needed any assistance," Zale said while he patted his clothes to dust off the dirt and stood up firmly. "She doesn't need any assistance from you because she already has me."

Wow... I feel moved...sigh.

"But the princess is too busy for her tea party, and you should be back by now."

"Yes, and I have the power to drive you away from here." Both of them look serious; it's like there's thunder crashing around them. They keep having an argument every time that I'm with them. They were supposed to care for and love each other, but they kept fighting over me.

I guess I'm rewriting this novel by ruining their relationship to each other. "It would be best if you stopped your bickering and acted with true nobility!" They quickly stop arguing when they hear my voice raise a little. "Prince Zale, you're the one who's been slacking off. You have more things to do with Uncle Gael." His reaction was surprise to hear that I know it. "And you, Princess, you shouldn't leave the ladies there too long. You have to keep them entertained whether you like it or not!" Everley zips her lips in guilt and remembers her responsibilities.

"Return to your roles right now, or you will never see me again!" I command them, and they both flinch because I was getting mad at them."Yes, Ma'am!" They both ran away, and I was finally left alone.

This is what it feels like to have your own children, huh? I made myself lay down again on the grass, but as I put my head down, I felt something soft. "You're already feeling drained when it was just about to begin." My eyes widened as I saw Kamaria.

"Kamaria?" He smiled at me as I saw him glow, and I got up to sit down and face Kamaria. "Oh! Kamaria! I never thought that I would say this, but I'm so glad to see you!" I cried to him, and I know that this will startle him, but I cannot help but hug him because I really need to let this tiredness fade. "Haha! There, there, my dearest Goddess...you're still doing great," he said as he patted my head to comfort me, and then I let go of him and looked at him with a teary eye. "Am I?" I said while I sniffed, and then he nodded. "Yes, you've been doing well from the start... when the day that you created us," I felt that my heart throb and my eyes just spark when he said that.
