"So, the red and blue ogres are both dead?" he asked, as the goblin leader looked up nervously.

"Yes-yes, that much is true-true. The humans had weapons that emitted flash and thunder-thunder. We must run-run-" immediately, the daemon lord sliced the head of the goblin leader.

"Fine, I guess I must do everything myself. Rally the rest of the beasts, and get that thing here!" he yelled, a land dragon bearing a weird satellite dish began to walk out of the cave, to roaring hordes of greenskins and baying creatures tha would send chills down any man's spine.

Hopefully it wasn't the emissaries of the sun or star gods that came. As he walked down into the caves where the remaining goblins and orcs began to cheer his arrival, and they would seal the doom of humanity in this godforsaken land.

He had once been on the prepice of world domination, as was his directives from the Ravernal Empire, when 'they' came.

The emissaries of the sun gods, when they first arrived, managed to take out one ogre, and rally the inferiors to fight for their homes. They had more nimble tanks and artillery, both naval and ground based that gave his forces a bad day, and they had put some steel into the abcks of the inferiors

But their efforts were not enough, and they were still about to be overrun by the sheer numbers of goblins and minature demons. Magic also wreaked havoc on them, disabling their artillery and even some of their tanks were stuck in the mud and were set upon, their crews being torn out of them and being mauled to death. A bayonet charge was blunted by a massive storm of lightning and fire, showing they were maybe not so invulnerable after all.

But just as they were to be overrun, the emissaries of the star gods appeared .

At first, there was some kind of conflict between both, but over eager goblins had charged them and forced his hand, and they banded together in desperation.

If the emissaries of the sun gods gave them a bad day, the emissaries of the star gods were worse. They had superior equipment and training, their firepower tore through their ranks, buying just enough time for the four heroes( or the bastards) to seal him away, leaving him to stew in his rage for millenia.

Last he heard, they then helped to build a wall, and then they left, as quickly as they could.

They couldn't have come back. Could they?

The sentries on the wall yawned and groaned, eager for their relief to arrive.

Most of the European enforcer corps battlegroup  and the Kossars were asleep. The previous day's efforts to clear out the district and patch up the smaller holes was tiring in itself, and after a few hours of work, the workers went off to sleep the last few hours of the night away.

As Corporal Rosa was sleeping, there was suddenly a loud "boom' from the walls, and she woke up, as did most of the battlegroup who jumped up, everyone quickly reaching for their weapons nearby, whilst she looked out the window, wondering what that was.

Outside, milita and Kossars were running towards the walls. Captain Moah slammed open the door and yelled for them to get up, which many were almost done with, and they quickly pushed past him as they rushed to the wall, whilst hearing horn blow, three times in quick succession, a warning that something was coming.

"Captain Moah ,what happened?" she yelled, as she shouldered her rifle  and joined the battlegroup in rushing towards the walls.

"Tovarich, I don't know, but it must be important if Babushka is firing!" he yelled, as Captain Blechmann directed the armour out of the holding area, their engines roaring to life as they rushed past the group.
