On the other side of the world

"Sir, we've just received some intelligence from our spies in Parlpadia and Rhiem, apparently something weird has just happened."

"What of it?" said the lead analyst, as morse code kept beeping in the room, accompanied by even more flashing lights on consoles. Apparently, something big had just happened, given how many of the radios were suddenly going off. Analysts began rushing to their stations and fiddling with knobs, whilst also writing down the messages from their spies.

"Decode and report it to me, as soon as you can." said the lead analyst of the Imperial Gras Valkan Covert Operations Command, "I" section, as the room burst into a hub of activity, with radio operators sitting down and beginning to take messages, and within hours, the finely lubricated machine that was the signals section finally churned out a report of a small war on the opposite side of the world.

1655 hours

"Alright, sir,  the reports are in. It reports ... Uhm, another country has appeared in the far-out regions. They got involved in a war with their neighbours, and absolutely annihilated them." read the analyst, as he read the summary of the paper, and then handed in the paper, which the lead

"Well, anything else, Mister Birsch?" asked the head of the section, as the analyst further read the papers more, flipping to find their military specs.

"Well, apparently they had large numbers of self-propelled guns, some of which were artillery, others of which were like tanks of enormous size. They had aircraft carriers, and they had large numbers of cruiser-sized ships, albeit with one gun. However, they also had rockets though, the reports indicate they are possibly guided."

"So, other than the one gun cruisers, and the large numbers of self-propelled guns, that admittedly doesn't seem to be much of a feat." said the head analyst, as he thought back to his navy days, at the sight of the own cruisers, with their seven 14cm cannons that could annihilate any foe it came across.

'It could mean they prioritise their aircraft... Tell me, what do the reports say about aircraft?"

"Sir, the reports indicate they used jet fighters, and their planes moved a bit faster than the speed of sound."

"So they have jets? That's not new, so do we." said the head analyst, as analyst Birsch nodded.

"Yes, that is true, but from how they described the fighter, they say it is a multi-role aircraft that could hover. They also had some kind of advanced gyrocopters and more advanced tech than we do." said the analyst, as the man standing up quietly thought about that. Their recently announced fighter

"Well, analyst Birsch, forward the information to the tech bureau, and what were these new folk called again?"

"Well, sir, they were called the ... European Federation." said analyst Birsch, as the head analyst tried to decipher what it meant by the Federation.

"So they are a confederation of states? How did they push the invasion through? I mean, back in the old world, the Usorian federation was still deliberating whether to send reinforcements to the Kain divine Kingdom while they were close to having one foot in the grave!" said the head analyst, as analyst Birsch quietly remembered that if they were going to invade the Kain Divine Kingdom, all its people would have fought to the death, and that was not including the more devastating tanks they had, along with arcane magics that they could use better as it coalesced better around their main home.

And it would have gotten worse as they got closer to the mainland, for when they approached the 'inner islands' of the Kain divine Kingdom, explosive spells seem to grow in potency, and it suddenly seemed that the weakest non-magic rifleman from the Kain divine Kingdom could suddenly channel intermediate spells.
