When you look up at the sky,
When the crimson sunset dies.
Find me in the longing,
For red is what your soul desires.
When the raindrops scatter like pearls,
On the twisted tangled vines.
Find me in the beauty,
Of the fragile pearly whites.
When you lose the battle to your memories,
When they keep you up all night.
Find me in our stories,
Find me in your mind.
Don't find me when you're happy,
Find me when you want to cry.
Happiness is contagious,
You'll find someone who wants to join.
Sadness leaves you delirious,
You will want someone to confide.
Find me when you've lost me,
Traces of me are all you'll find,
Find me when you've outlived me,
Don't find me till I die.
