At 6:30am the next day, Sailub woke up on time.
He always had very good habits and followed a regular schedule.
Even if he went to bed late at night, he would definitely get up early, take a shower, eat breakfast, read newspapers, and deal with business issues that were delayed due to the time differences of various countries..
Sailub checked the time after washing and prepared to wait half an hour before waking up Pon.
Sailub opened the door and went downstairs.
After scanning Pon’s room, he unexpectedly found that the door was wide open.
“Where is Pon?”
Sailub went downstairs, looked around and still didn’t manage to find him.
He took a sip of tea that was on the table, “Has he gotten up?”
The housekeeper auntie brought the prepared breakfast to the table and nodded with a smile, “He has been up since six o’clock and is currently running outside."
“Running?” Sailub was a little surprised, “He got up earlier than me?”
The auntie nodded, “Yes, he got up half an hour earlier than you. I didn’t think he would come down that early, so I hadn’t prepared his breakfast yet. But he said it was okay and that he would eat when he finished his run.”
Sailub didn’t expect that Pon’s schedule was healthier than his.
He was quite surprised and said, “If that’s the case, please help him prepare a sports drink every morning.”
The auntie agreed.
Although it was only breakfast, it was Pon’s first meal in this house.
Sailub didn’t move away from the dining table, but sat and handled business affairs while waiting for his wife to return.
Fortunately, Pon didn’t run far and make him wait for long.
When Pon came back and saw Sailub reading the newspaper while waiting for him, he embarrassedly grabbed the waist of his pants and fidgeted slightly as he said, “You, you don’t have to wait for me.”
Seeing Sailub put the newspaper down, Pon didn’t wait for him to speak, and his eyes kept looking at the hearty breakfast that was placed in front of him and said, “Besides, there is so much food. No matter how much you eat, the leftovers will be enough for me.”
Auntie didn’t hold back her smile, while Sailub brows raised slightly and said, “I don’t eat much… enough, quickly let’s eat."
Pon actually wanted to take a shower first, but since Sailub had been waiting for him for a long time, it would be bad to continue to make him wait.
Just like that, Pon proceeded to sit next to Sailub and had breakfast with him.
What Sailub said was right. He usually didn’t have a good appetite for breakfast.
After having two slices of toast, half an omelette, and a cup of coffee, he would be full.
But for Pon, he was an adolescent, plus he exercised in the morning. Thus his appetite was more than three times that of Sailub.
Pon was used to eating breakfast by himself.
Towards the end of the meal, he realised that Sailub had already stopped eating.
He was a little embarrassed and glanced at Sailub.
Sailub sensed Pon’s dilemma, and the corners of his mouth were slightly raised as he had another fried egg.
