After the call connected, without waiting for  Sailub to speak, Michael hurriedly said, “I have sent them all away. If you come down now, I promise that no one will be in sight. Ah, our service staff don’t count.”

Sailub hung up.

Pon didn’t know who was on the other line.

He was too embarrassed to ask and was still immersed in the not ambiguous but very tender embrace just now.

He was feeling a little bit overwhelmed and was still in a daze…

Did Sailub just give me a hug?

Was that a hug?

Pon felt a little regretful…

This was more irritating than the last time Sailub  held his waist.

It was unfortunate that he was in a bad mood just now and couldn’t feel anything at all.

There were no tears now, and his heart wasn’t uncomfortable anymore.

He couldn’t squeeze any liquid even if he wanted to cry and couldn’t have a hug if he wanted to have one.

Ahh…

Sailub put his phone aside, looked at Pon, and said, “Is there anything you want to ask or say?”

Pon returned back to reality. “Huh?”

“I don’t like to drag out trivial things and accumulate them into hidden dangers. What happened today… If you have anything you are unhappy about, just say it now.” Sailub said calmly, “I know everything.”

Pon understood. Sailub  was still worried that he didn’t believe him.

“I…” Pon swallowed the “I’m fine” that had almost left his lips and changed his words to ask him instead, “Did you… really have a lot of partners before?”

Sailub nodded slightly.

Neither ashamed nor proud.

Pon whispered, “Did you have feelings for them?”

Sailub shook his head. He smiled. For the first time, he felt that the stubbornness and uncompromising characteristic of Pon was lovely.

“You… haven’t been in love before?” Pon sat down, fiddled with his phone, and continued,
“The true love kind.”

Sailub shook his head again.

Pon dumbfoundedly asked, “When you were younger, did you like anyone in particular?”

“Pon..” Sailub sighed softly, “I’m still not that old.”

Pon hurriedly apologised, “No, you look so young. Really young, but you are too scary, so I always feel…”

Sailub chuckled, “What have I done to make you think I am scary?”

“You haven’t..”

It was not easy to chat with Sailub to this point.

Pon immediately got the topic back on track and said, “Have you never liked anyone when you were in school? The kind that… constantly thinking of your crush.”

Sailub said, “There isn’t… Pon, I brought up this topic because I wanted to restore my goodwill on your side through an explanation. You keep talking about this, I really can’t find any bonus points.”

Pon laughed. He wasn’t afraid of Sailub today, so he boldly pointed out, “You haven’t answered yet.”

“No, my school days were different from yours.” Sailub suppressed the corners of his mouth that he couldn’t help but to smile and said, “I didn’t have much energy to have crushes, and dating was a waste of time. Later on, I left school earlier than I intended to…”
