Since the project was already underway, in order for Sailub to work efficiently, both the Hemmawich family and the Aiemkumchai family needed to be reassured.

Three days later, after going through the relevant procedures with Pon, they officially became a legal couple.

The project that both families had collaborated on was being promoted during the publicity period.

In order to prevent the marriage from stealing the limelight, Sailub decided not to hold a wedding.

“How can you not hold the wedding?!” Mikaela frowned, “Although we are rushing for time and it is hasty to hold the wedding now, we still have to do it.”

Sailub smiled, “We can just say that we held it abroad, or that because Pon is too young, I don’t want to expose him to the media this early. We can just provide any kind of excuse.”

“You…” Mikaela glanced at Sailub’s assistant, Way Supanut.

Way understood her intentions, left, and closed the office door.

“Then how do you want me to explain to Sammy?” Mikaela was dissatisfied, “Previously, I had told her that we would do something special! You know how much I was looking forward …"

Looking forward to Chod’s expression at the wedding.

Sailub looked at his mother with a smile, “That was what you said. I never promised to spend my energy on the wedding.”

Mikaela frowned, and Sailub smiled helplessly, “Don’t you know how busy I’ve been recently? Including an hour-long plane ride, my schedule for the whole of next week is hectic. Then, after coming back, I still have to deal with the problems accumulated here. There isn’t any time for me to hold the wedding.”

Mikaela also knew that her son had been working hard, but she liked to handle these kind of things. Whether it was a real marriage or not, she wanted to take this opportunity to have fun.

Mikaela thought about it and asked, “The Aiemkumchai family… Did Chod agree?”

Sailub nodded, “When I met with Chairman Chod yesterday, I mentioned that my schedule has been hectic and that we might need to keep the wedding simple. She was very happy and said that it was a good arrangement.”

“Of course she is happy with it!” Mikaela said angrily, “She wishes for the both of you to divorce as soon as possible!”

Sailub smiled and said, “I can honestly tell you that she isn’t wishing for that. She values our future cooperation even more than I do.”

Mikaela couldn’t convince Sailub. “Forget it, let’s just say that the wedding was held in Pattaya because Pon likes the sea… Are you listening? Don’t give the wrong information when someone asks.”

Sailub sorted out the information and nodded. “I’ll remember.”

“It doesn’t matter if the wedding is held or not. But in a few days, according to the lunar calendar,(The Lunar calendar is based on the monthly cycle of the moon phases and birthdays are calculated by using the Zodiac sign and the moon phase), it will be Pon’s eighteenth birthday. I want to organise a celebration for him. You won’t have any more comments, right?”

Sailub smiled, “Of course not. Do whatever you want and I will pay the bill. Please help me choose an expensive gift for him.”

Upon hearing that, Mikaela felt better and nodded in agreement.
She had always felt that she owed Sammy and Pon since there wasn’t any wedding.

The next day, Mikaela invited Sammy out as both compensation and an apology.

Sammy had actually hoped to keep the wedding a low profile. Regarding the current arrangement, she was very satisfied. “You don’t have to organise a birthday banquet. I have already celebrated with him on the actual day itself.”
