CHAPTER 20

When Pon went downstairs, Sailub and Way were still in the position he had left them in.

On the surface, there was no change.

Pon settled his worries as he carried his schoolbag and said to Way, “I’ve packed up, shall we go now?”

Way looked at Sailub.

Sailub nodded a little and Way took Pon away with him.

Sailub walked to the window, lit a cigarette and stared into blank space.

Pon had asked Way  about his preferences for sexual partners.

What does this mean?

It might be pure curiosity. It might be he had a desire to know secrets. It might be that he liked him.

Pon was not a very curious person.

It seemed the first reasoning was not true.

Pon’s manners were very good and he was polite. He would not contact Way to inquire about this just because of his desire to pry into his privacy.

So the second reasoning was not right.

The third… Pon was already his legal lover. If he liked him, he didn’t need to lower his position to understand his own preferences. He just needed to open the door of his room at night.

However, such a thing was even more impossible.

It took Sailub half a second to quickly rule out the real cause and analyse it carefully.

Pon was not an impulsive person.

There must be something related to those having a close relationship with him that prompted him to take the risk to contact Way to inquire about it.

Based on what happened yesterday, Sailub made a preliminary conclusion.

The scandal made Pon very uneasy.

Even if he promised that nothing similar would happen again, this incident still made him feel insecure.

Pon was worried that he would soon have a new sexual partner and he would be attacked by these inexplicable public opinions again.

It was reasonable to think this way. Pon was almost hurt and he was now guarded.

He wanted to know Sailub own preferences and would then try his best to interrupt him so that he has less contact with these people to protect himself.

For self-protection, there was no way to blame him.

Sailub even agreed.

He was also a person who would do anything for his own personal gain.

No, Pon was not unscrupulous… It was just a little cautious preparation.

This was also very understandable. If Pon  were his own son, he definitely wouldn’t want to find him a stepmother. Who would not be selfish?

Sailub admits that he treated Pon well and Pon relied on him. To be possessive, it was just human nature.

Sailub quickly justified Pon’s actions and forgave him unilaterally.

Sailub had thought about it before that if he got along with Pon after getting married, Pon might disturb his quest of finding a new lover.

If he were to be in love with someone, he might do small actions to sabotage the relationship, such as behaving like a spoiled brat or something.

It would all be inoffensive. Make a little harmless mess and forbid him to go to others…

If this were the case, Sailub would not be angry.
