The ride till Anya's home was a silent one. Unlike the couple of other times, he had dropped her, she didn't request him to stop afar from her house. He, for the first time, got to see her house. It wasn't too huge, but it was a decently big independent house which looked cozy but screamed elegance and class.
Vikram knew that Anya was from a very rich background when she outrightly refused to do something for the money. Her branded clothes, her choices, the places she hung out and everything about her reflected her stature of being from a filthy rich family. Once the car stopped, Anya wordlessly walked towards her house.
In the darkness, he couldn't clearly see but he could make out a figure, hugging Anya. Maybe it was her mother but when he saw again, she looked like someone not very old. So, he had his doubts about that woman being Anya's mother. But he knew for sure that she was close to Anya from the way she held on to her. He started the car and went to a restro bar where a meeting of his with another probable client was scheduled.
Even though he was kind of disturbed by everything, he didn't want to miss out on the potential clientele. So, he decided to go about his business as if nothing happened. He had his focus right. On the other hand, Abhishek was informed about everything Aradhna told them by Neil. He was the one looking into all these security related issues. It was also because he wanted to keep his Bhaiyya away from Akshara and her motives as much as possible.
He didn't want Abhimanyu to get first-hand information in its rawest form. Now, that he is the one coordinating with Abhishek, he can always ease the information out to Abhimanyu to make accepting things easier for him. Peace of mind is a luxury for his Bhaiyya, and he wanted to grant him that in whatever way possible.
Neil came back to see that the positions have been flipped and Abhimanyu was caressing Roohi's hair while she sat on the floor. She was getting anxious about her solo rehearsal the next day and Abhimanyu offered her his magical champi. Roohi pounced on the opportunity and soon, she was distracted for good. Neil mock coughed and made his presence known.
"Haan haan! Pata hain ki aap ho yahan. Per aaj Poppy sirf mujhe champi denewale hain. Toh don't even try." Roohi declared and Abhimanyu gave her head a gentle tap.
"Hamesha compete kyun karna hai aapko? Agar aapke Chachu ko main champi dedunga toh kya hojayega?" He asked casually. Roohi pouted.
"Rehne do Bhai! Roohi ko aapka saara time apneliye chahiye hota hain. Hamesha aise hi karti hain yeh"
Neil mentioned while stretching himself and lying down on the bed beside Abhimanyu. Roohi turned back in a blink and glared at Neil.
"Ek toh maine aapki side li aur aapko defend kiya....aur aap hain ki mujhe hi chida rahe hain. Not fair Chachu" She whined and then realized that she slipped up.
Abhimanyu glared at both his kids who were looking every where else but him and a smile formed on his face.
"Nautanki band karo donon. Yeh covering up kabse shuru kardiya donon ne?" He asked normally much to Neil and Roohi's happiness.
