On the Sets of Musical Mastane:
Akshara was too busy to care for anybody who was standing around. She had to rush in to avoid any sort of crowd gathering. It was like a walk in the park for her. For the past few years, that has been her life. She was already slightly late to reach the sets because of yesterday night's fiasco. If not for Vikram's timely intervention, she would have probably injured herself and might have a nasty injury to cover up.
Akshara had her shades on, and the bodyguards shielded her with their entirety clouding her petite frame with their hefty ones. She missed out on spotting the Birlas but they happened to catch a glimpse of her.
Abhimanyu froze in his spot!
No matter how much he prepared himself for this very moment, he couldn't help that reaction. It took some time for him to recover and regain the control on his senses. His first impulse was to look for Abhir and when he saw his son standing still in shock, his heart went out for him. He grabbed his child's hand and took him away from the crowd to a relatively less populated area. He didn't want anyone to spot Abhir in that vulnerable state.
Roohi just came to meet her family members as soon as she cross checked her pitch and scale with the band. Her eyes were searching for her father because she desperately wanted to get some assurances from him. She looked disappointed when she couldn't spot him. Neil noticed that and pulled Roohi closer.
"Aap bahut acha karogi Princess. You really have it in you. Don't you dare doubt yourself" Neil gently warned her earning a glare from Aradhna.
She made Roohi turn towards her and spoke,
"Roohi! You have really worked hard hard to reach here. Hum sab yahan aapkeliye aaye hain. Aapke dream ko poora karne mein aapki help karne aaye hain. Aur hum sirf support kar sakte hain ya assist kar sakte hain. It's all on you now.
Agar kisi moment keliye aapne bahut zyada mehnat kiya hain, intezaar kiya hain....woh yahi hain. This is it. This is your moment of glory. Don't let anything take that away from you. Hmmm!"
Aradhna's words soothed Roohi's fears and she hugged her gently to avoid her dress from creasing. All of them noticed that and smiled. Roohi smiled back and took their leave. She still missed her father, but she was sure that it must have been something important. So, she ignored it and tried to focus on Aradhna's words. They were exactly what she needed at that moment. Those were the things her Poppy would have told her probably.
They really helped and she couldn't help wondering how they traced this journey till here. She was always wary of Aradhna and never really liked her much. Cut to today, she is family and Roohi is happy about it. The fact that Aradhna is going to be the woman in her Chachu's life eased her out of her impractical imaginations regarding the same. That made her smile.
Outside the Auditorium Set Up:
Abhir hugged his father and refused to part from him.
