In the Flight:
Abhir boarded the flight with one of the security staff members of Abhishek's team. Only if things were normal, Abhir would have argued with his father to allow him to travel on his own without someone overlooking him. He knew that his father would have given in by the end. But after what he did at College, he knew things won't be the same.
Abhir recollected how he happened to come across the video in College, when he was heading to the Basketball Court. How he wished his class wasn't cancelled and how he wished he never came across his classmates watching the viral video that happens to be his mother's. He just couldn't control the itch to watch it and once he started watching, he couldn't stop. He was hurting from the word Go when his mother started the video by singing his favourite song -
"Oh Kanha! Ab toh Murli ki...Madhur Sunado Gaan" which triggered too many past memories. The moment his mother spoke about him, his hands shivered, and he struggled to hold the mobile straight. His eyes were filled with tears, and he didn't understand why he was getting so affected by her open declaration of love for him.
All those happy moments spent with Akshara made an appearance and before he could cherish them all, the stunts she pulled in the name of loving him, flashed in front of him. It then became difficult to get them off his mind. The fact that his mother didn't mention or acknowledge Roohi's existence had his blood boiling.
All the love she showered on him wasn't a matter of importance to him because of the Royal snub Akshara gave his sister.
He just wished Akshara didn't do this intentionally, but he knew that it was all planned. He could feel it in his bones. Abhir was worried for his sister's reaction after seeing the video. He didn't want her to be disturbed just a day before her debut performance on National Television.
Akshara was going to be a part of the jury in front of which Roohi has to perform, that made him more anxious. His nerves were getting better of him, but he tried his best to stay calm and also control his temper.
That's when Arvind barged in and collided with Abhir intentionally. Just like every day, he tried to rile up Abhir and unlike all the other days, Abhir wasn't able to completely ignore his ministrations. They headed to the Basketball court, and he tried to divert his mind by getting involved in the game. He was too embroiled in the game when Arvind started his taunting business again.
Abhir was so close to making a goal when Arvind blocked him in a foul way. A penalty was awarded, and Abhir failed to score the basket. That gave Arvind more reason to go berserk and after a point of time, Abhir's self-control snapped. He lunged towards Arvind and gave him a hard push. Arvind retaliated with his full force, but he wasn't a match to Abhir.
They rolled on the floor and got their skin scraped at places. Arvind was mildly bleeding at places while Abhir knew how to manage himself. Then Abhir just attacked him with a punch in his anger. It is sheer luck and Arvind's presence of mind which saved his nose from getting broken. His jaw took the hit, but it wasn't that intense a hit by the time it came in contact with the jaw. The deflection reduced the impact.
