Aradhna's House, Mumbai:

Aradhna woke up a happier person because she had a great sleep. Her body felt better after getting the much-needed rest and believed that there was a certain soothing energy around her which allowed her to sleep so tension free. Only when she looked to her side, she realized the actual reason behind it. A smile broke on her lips and she kept looking at Neil who looked too adorable to shift the gaze.

But then she saw how uncomfortable he was in that position and also the frown on his face deepening. Maybe the body was giving up and she immediately helped him lie down better without maneuvering him much. She made sure that the frown wasn't significant anymore by placing pillows to support his head and stretched out his arm. To her luck, the house help came just then, and she instructed her to make some coffee.

She called up her cook and asked her to come immediately to fix her some breakfast and she obliged. Aradhna was terrible with cooking in comparison to her family members. All of them except her mom were fantastic cooks. Being hoteliers and stalwarts of Hospitality industry in Rajasthan for a long time, they for sure had a knack of best taste in food.

All the men in her family also happen to be amazing cooks. Her Dadi was a very progressive woman and she made sure that her sons knew how to cook back in the day. She never differentiated between Aradhna's Mom and Dad. She was a lady to take inspiration from and often lot of the people who knew of her told Aradhna that she was a lot like her late Dadi.

However, her Dadi's only fault was loving her Dadaji beyond reason. All her logics and thinking would suddenly evaporate in the wake of his decisions. She would fight it but never with full might. If not for her husband's busy schedule, Aradhna's Dadi wouldn't have been what she was. Because a little intervention from her husband went a long way. Her son's mindset is a great example of her parenting being hijacked by her husband.

It was no secret that her father turned out like his father and Aradhna turned out more like her Dadi.  Maybe one of the reasons why she had so many clashes with her father. It can be inherent in them because of genes and Aradhna wasn't entirely like her Dadi.

The major difference here is, her Dadi's loss of identity in love which was rather blind. Aradhna instead stood her ground, took challenges head on and made her father bow down to her by making him realize his mistakes.

Her father was too proud a man to do something like that, but he somehow pulled it off or she forced him to do something like that. A smile made its way again.

The maid handed her the coffee tray and she rushed to wake Neil up with a hot cup of Cappuccino, just the way he liked. Neil shifted and turned on the bed while Aradhna was away. Now that his body was relaxing, it was seeking more comfort, and the bed essentially wasn't like his hard mattress. The hotel mattresses were already irritating him, and Aradhna's was no different.

Irritation spiked and he got up suddenly startling Aradhna out of her wits who was just about to wake him up. She has to thank her stars for not dropping the tray and spilling the coffee all over herself. That would be such a disastrous start to a bright morning. All this aside, her boyfriend still looked too charming to her, and she quickly composed herself.
