Akshara forcefully schooled her expressions as she saw the camera zoom in. She gave a reluctant smile, and the producers couldn't be happier. She had gone against their wish and wasted the huge amount they stupidly spent on getting the video from SAFARNAMA people. They just assumed it to be a normal interview where she got carried away. Only if they had a single clue that it was all planned and intentional, they would have never shelled out a penny. 

They really wanted to build on the Akshara versus Roohi narrative. Two singers from Udaipur, where one is a Superstar, and the other is just taking baby steps. While the Superstar doesn't want the upcoming talent to excel and does things to stop the progress of a relatively young girl who possesses the talent to overtake her. That makes a fantastic story, and they were very successfully attracting clout with that. 

But Akshara's post simmered it down. Destiny kind of decided to be kind to them and Akshara happened to give a super bland expression even after giving the buzzer. They themselves were confused by the sudden shift. Akshara was doing everything by the book to undo the damage and right when she was at the verge of being successful at it, she again gave them a chance to exploit it. The producer saw her blank face and reacted quickly. 

They told the anchor through the earpiece to start taking the comments from Akshara first and she nodded. Akshara had no clue what's coming for her if she falters here for whatever reason. Her PR will not be able to rubbish anything off because the producers and channel will side with Roohi and do the campaigning. After seeing such a spectacular performance, they were super stoked of choosing the right candidate to elevate. 

If Roohi lacked the luster or Akshara manages to not give them anything to play at, their ploy wouldn't have worked. 

Anya who was watching from the side lines was blown away by the skill Roohi had. She did see her viral video before going to Udaipur to shoot her Video diaries and she happened love her voice. Only after she keenly observed the dynamics of Roohi and her family, she got carried away. The lack of interest from her team to dissect the Birlas and the absolute control the Birlas had on the situation, put her off. 

Then her past glimpses, Vikram, Akshara and everything else gave her no time to think about Roohi's talent. She, for a moment, forgot everything and enjoyed the performance to the fullest. Only when she saw her sending flying kisses to her family, did she come back to her senses. She could clearly see how the family wasn't acknowledging Akshara's presence. Birlas looked indifferent but Akshara looked lost. 

Anya didn't miss the shock on Akshara's face and how she covered it up. Things were just coinciding with everything Akshara said except for the fact that Abhir was unhappy. He did look dull initially but ever since she saw him enter the set again, he has been energetic and hooted the loudest for Roohi. The entire family just confused her with their behaviour. 

On one end they changed their routines upside down to be there for Roohi, but they were so laid back and enjoying the performances put up by Roohi's potential threats. Roohi's social media game was at her lowest and nothing extra ordinary was happening from their end to secure her position in the competition.
