At Aradhna's Mumbai Office:

Once Aradhna found some free time, she sank back in her plush chair and she was at once, reminded of all the moments from yesterday to now. The conversation she had with Abhimanyu also flashed in front of her eyes. The sort of respect Abhimanyu gave her family, and the sheer thoughtfulness warmed her heart.

She never had a guiding figure in her life and never felt the need to have one. Infact, she repelled to that idea. She isn't definitely someone who liked taking instructions. The reason she wanted to start doing something else was also because she wanted to be her own BOSS. Her family had a lot of experience in the Hospitality business, and no one really gave her word any weightage.

Aradhna was constantly told about what to do when, with regards to business and she hated their experience and that aspect of running her family-owned business. She knew she would never be able to be herself or get her due there because of the difference in ideology. After she came to Mumbai, she toiled hard but, in the end, she conquered the odds to be her own boss and become the one to give instructions.

Abhimanyu on the other hand never really exerted too much authority. With her, it was in negatives. Even with the kids, he was more of a parent who would convince them rather than compel them unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

With her, he only suggested and reasoned logically. She really appreciated his level headedness and the ability to observe things that would seldom go ignored if not for him. Just the way, she and Neil were about to do. His words pushed her to appreciate her parents more, but she definitely didn't agree with Abhimanyu's narrative of 'might have reacted differently under different circumstances'.

Even if Neil opened up to his Bhaiyya about the relation in a way worse manner, he would have still agreed out of the trust and love he had for Neil. Even if Neil happened to discuss the turbulations she faced due to her parent's stubbornness, she could vouch that Abhimanyu would have reacted the same way and offered them the respect, just for her.

He wouldn't interfere unnecessarily and wouldn't pass a judgement or say anything to hurt her intentionally. Disrespect isn't something he has in his bones. Aradhna had that trust in Abhimanyu, purely for the way he treats his family and the way he raised his kids.

She had everything to be grateful to him for making Neil look at the world the way he does today. It was his parenting that nurtured Neil to become the person that he is. Be the man who made her fall for him head over heels.

She really hoped that her family can live up to the standards set by these amazing souls as far as acceptance and respecting is concerned. That will be the huge moment for her, not this. Even if she was expecting too much from them, she found it to be okay. It was her right as the girl of the house to harbour such expectations and demand for their fulfillment. She missed out on quite a few rights during the time she spent away and was determined to compensate them all at once.

Her secretary walked in again and Aradhna sighed as she got to go back to work. She has a lot on her plate now, both personally and professionally but she was confident that she would pull it all off just fine.
