(Husk's POV)

After having a shower I put on some boxers and one of Angel's flowing pajama robes..... It's just soft and comforting...... I sit by Angel on his bed as he sleeps peacefully...... I slowly try to move his hair but I flinch..... I cover my face in embarrassment..... Fucking useless.......

Angel shuffles in his sleep as I just stay sat my him..... I hear him sleep talk.....

Angel~: "I miss you...."
God I miss you Angel.....

Angel~: "I love you Husk....."
I love you too......

Angel~: "It's okay...."
Nothing is okay.....

Angel~: "I just want you to be okay....."
I wish I could be.....

Angel~: "I'll protect you...."
I want you to......

I keep looking over Angel sleeping peacefully..... He's so cute..... I just wish I could kiss him.... I want to be able to make you happy....

I watch as he slowly wakes up.... A small smile appears on my face as I watch him stretch and look around...... He's so adorable..... As we make eye contact he smiles like an idiot.....

*I smile and lean down towards his tired face* "mornin~"

Angel~: *strokes my arm which makes me flinch slightly but I let him continue* "morning kitty~"

*I melt at him calling me a petname for the first time in a while* "I.... Uh..... You still seem tired" *I scratch the back of my head*

Angel~: *nods trying keep keep his eyes open* "I'm just happy you are here...... I don't wanna fall back to sleep when my only dream is here"

*I blush* "where the fuck did that come from"

Angel~: *smirks still tired* "I just wanted to see your face go all~" *he leans close and I back away after flinching. His expression softens* "our date is today~ soon I'll prove to you that we can still be together even without physical contact"

*I nod and roll my eyes* "this mean I gotta deal with your flirting all day? "

Angel~: *chuckles* "y'know you love it~"

*I smirk* "that's not the point"

Angel~: *chuckles* "so you do love it~"

*I lay close to him without touching him* "maybe I do~"

Angel~: *sticks his tongue out* "this is a much better angle~" *he grabs the towel I used after the shower and hugs me using the towel as a layer*

*I chuckle and struggle* "this is still wet!"

Angel~: *whispers* "unlike you this morning~"

*I go bright red* "I..... Uh...... You are the worst....." *i hide my face in the towel*

Angel~: *giggles* "well don't worry I have an idea for the end of the date~"

*I grumble* "why did I agree to this"

Angel~: *snuggles his face into the towel where my neck is* "because we both know we love eachother~ it's just one of us is convinced that it won't work out because he thinks the other only wants sex~"

*I mumble* "when you put it like that...... Maybe I am being stupid"

Angel~: *giggles* "you always are~ anyhoo I got a date to dress for. So get changed into something fancy so we can start the great date!"
