Angel is sat by the hotel's bar just waiting for Husker to start his shift so he could try some other stuff to fix him. Angel looks exhausted after staying up all night thinking of something to help Husk. Angel is lost in thought when he started to hear footsteps. Angel turns and sees Husk walk slowly towards him with his arms crossed. Angel immediately notices his body language isn't cold.

Angel: *eyes wide* "Husk? Is that you?"

Husk: *nods* "I'm so so sorr-"

Angel immediately runs up to him and hugs him causing Husk to panic and push him away. A wave of guilt hits Husk's face.

Husk: *crying* "I'm sorry..... I'm sorry...."

Angel: *facial expression softens and puts his hands up* "I'm sorry I shouldn't have hugged you"

Husk: *crying more* "I'm sorry for making that deal with Alistair......"

Angel: *teary eyed* "I'm sorry for bothering you into feeling like you had to do that"

Husk: *shakes head* "I'm sorry for breaking off the relationship and ignoring you..... This is all my fault"

Angel: *shakes head laughing through the tears* "fuck I think we are both sorry for a lot"

Husk: *chuckles slightly through his tears* "I guess so.... But you don't need to be sorry..... It's my fault"

Angel: *shakes head* "you are going through a lot. I should have thought more about what you are going through"

Husk: *looks down* "I don't know why I broke up with you....."

Angel: *expression softens and he kneels down so he can look up at Husk and appear small* "cause you are scared....."

Husk: *gets his voice stuck in his throat*

Angel: *stays low* "look we don't have to get back together but.... Don't shut me out.... Let me help you.... I understand what you are going through...... "

Husk: *nods slightly*

Angel: *gives a warm smile* "that's my boy" *holds out Husk's room key* "you can have thsi back if it makes you more comfortable?"

Husk: *shakes head*

Angel: *nods and puts the key away* "okay.... I don't know if you could hear me when you were essentially a shell but-"

Husk: *nods* "I could....." *gives a small smile and reaches out to stroke Angels face but he freezes and closes his eyes tight before stepping back* "sorry"

Angel: *nods giving a sad smile* "it's okay.... Take your time"

Husk: *yawns* "fuck....."

Angel: *yawns* "it's been pretty exhausting recently huh?"

Husk: *nods giving a small smile* "you can say that again......"

Angel: *gives a warm smile* "we are gonna look so lazy if we went to sleep now....."

Husk: *shrugs* "well Alistor will also likely be getting some rest"

Angel: *confused* "why?"

Husk: *chuckles* "let's just say he had some children songs stuck in his head"

Angel: *still confused* "children songs?"

Husk: *nods looking very proud of himself*

Angel: *smiles happy to see him look genuinely happy despite not knowing why* "I've missed you"

Husk: *expression softens* "I've missed you too....." *yawns meowing as he does so*

Angel: *melts and giggles* "you should head to bed..." *yawns*

Husk: *nods and smiles at Angel* "would you wanna..... Uh nevermind" *scratches back of neck*

Angel: *nods not wanting to push Husk* "uh okay then" *stands up and stretches* "goodnight Husk"

Husk: *does a little nod and smiles at him as he walks past. As soon as Angel is out of earshot Husk whispers* "night night~"
