*Back at the autobot base*

" Prime! Do you read? A nasty odor was smelt in the isolated parts of south India, in the town of Kumbakonam. When investigated, we found tons of massacred and rotting humans all over the place! What in uncle Sam's beard happened there!? " Agent Fowler yelled through the call.

" It was K. When Rex and I. entered the underground base, we saw her. She was uncontrollable. Like a savage. It was almost like she was possessed. Like a mindless beast, even when she was injured, she was very determined to get revenge and did not slow down her attacks. " Arcee said.

" Didn't she say she has some cursed ability or something? " Bulkhead tried to recall.

" I guess we didn't really pay attention to them... " Smokescreen said, guilt etched in his voice.

" You think? It was our fault and our ignorance that caused Aqua to be in the state she is in now! It's our fault that K's cursed abilities consumed her, and she went on a rampage! We should have been more vigilant, more supportive! We should have listened to Rex and the kids when they tried to warn us about K's struggles! Now, Aqua is fighting for her life! We have failed to follow the number one rule ever since we came to this planet. To protect...if anyone should take ownership of the murders in that area, it is us... " Ratchet bursted.

Everyone looked at him in shock.

No one expected Ratchet, of all bots, to care so much.

*Few hours later*

It had been at least 7 hours since K woke up. Her leg was still healing, but she was still able to walk and run like usual. It obviously hurt, but K didn't care about the pain. She was only worried for her sister. The others too.

They were scared. K was the only one who saw Aqua while she was fresh out of the torture. She knew how badly she was damaged. She was scared how this might affect Aqua permanently.

The group just remained silent for the 7 hours Aqua was in ICU. Miko had tried to cheer everyone up with her untimed sarcasm and jokes, which kept their spirits up for only a few minutes.

As the nurse entered the waiting room, the group's eyes fixed on her, searching for any sign of hope. But her solemn face and downcast eyes told a different story.

"I'm afraid Aqua's condition has taken a turn for the worse," she began, her voice soft but firm. "The massive head trauma she sustained has led to a coma. We're doing everything we can, but...it's not looking good."

The room fell silent once more, the weight of her words sinking in like a cold, dark shroud. K's heart raced as she felt her world spinning out of control. Her sister, her vibrant, fiery sister, might never wake up again. She swallowed hard as she remembered seeing them kick Aqua roughly on the head.

Miko's attempts at humor died on her lips, and she looked like she'd been punched in the gut. The others seemed to shrink into themselves, their faces etched with worry and fear.

K's mind raced with thoughts of her sister's battered body, her fragile spirit trapped in a prison of unresponsive flesh. She felt a surge of determination well up inside her. She wouldn't give up on Aqua, no matter what. She'd fight for her, with every fiber of her being.

"What can we do?" K asked the nurse, her voice barely above a whisper.
The nurse's expression turned sympathetic.

"Just be there for her, when she wakes up. If she wakes up."

*A few days later* ( @ hospital )

It has been a few days.

Both Aqua and K stayed at the hospital for further observations.
