When Abigail had approached her house, her mum straight away engulfed her into a massive hug, Abigail hugged her back and after they had shared a little understanding of why she left Abigail headed down the hall into her room, she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, scrolling through her contacts to find Kyle's number. Kyle was Abigail and Grace's best friend, he was the only friend the two of them had made when they had gotten to high school, he was a sweet boy and often supported the two girls when they were at their lowest and he even knew of Abigail's crush on Grace and Grace's mental health problem. Grace had a little crush on him and Abigail knew that, that's why she wanted Kyle to be over there with her so he could comfort her because the boy always knew how to lighten a mood and keep his friends in check even if his only friends were the two girls that would make an adorable couple if they both liked each other. Abigail pressed on Kyle's contact, and hit the phone button. The phone dialled for about a minute before Kyle finally picked up on the other end. ''Hey, Kyle.''

''Oh, hey Abbs what's up? Everything okay?'' Kyle asked, he had slight worry in his voice. He knew that Abigail would never have called him unless it was an emergency because the girl usually texted him and even then she only texted when it was an emergency.

''Oh, yeah everything's fine but Grace isn't at her best right now, she wrote me a suicide note. I don't know if she had one for you too but could you stay the night with her? She just needs someone by her side right now, I'd stay with her but my mum will kill me if I had stayed longer,'' Abigail explained, trying not to cry as she spoke.

''Is she okay? I'll be right there at her house. Thanks for letting me know, Abbs, see you tomorrow,'' Kyle said, hanging up the phone.

Kyle packed up his backpack of his homework that he had been working on before Abigail had called him, he then just placed his clothes for school tomorrow in there too and slung his backpack over his shoulder, and he headed down the hall and laced up his converse. ''Mum, I'm staying the night at Grace's, she needs support right now.''

Kyle's mum usually was quite understanding and chill but this one time she didn't approve of her son staying the night at somebody else's house on a school night. ''Sweetie, it's a school night,'' she exclaimed.

''I know I'm aware mum but Grace is going through some things, she needs the support right now, I'll be home tomorrow I promise. Love you mum,'' Kyle explained, planting a small kiss to his mum's cheek and rushing out the door to Grace's house.

After a long walk of pure exhaustion and achy feet Kyle had finally arrived at Grace's house, he walked up the porch steps and balled his hand into a fist to knock. Grace's mum opened it, she sighed when she saw Kyle and she knew he was here for the same reason Abigail was. ''Come right in,'' she muttered. Kyle smiled and walked right in, he headed up the stairs to find Grace, he looked in the bathroom first but she wasn't in there and that's when he found her in her room just eating a packet of chips as she watched Netflix.

''Hey, Grace, Abbs told me I was coming, didn't she?'' Kyle asked, trying his best not to startle her since she hadn't noticed him yet.

Grace paused what she was watching and looked up at Kyle, he gave her an adorable dazzling sweet smile before shutting her bedroom door and sit upon her bed. Kyle's icy blue eyes stared into Grace's light blue eyes, he hooked a strand of her precious blonde locks behind her ear and then stroked her cheek with the back of his hand. A small blush escaped Grace's cheeks, she was thankful to have both Kyle and Abigail there for her. ''You know Abbs and I are worried about you, right? She told me you wrote a suicide note to her,'' Kyle said.

Grace looked down at her hands that Kyle now held, he began running his thumb over her knuckles as he pressed a small kiss to her forehead. ''You know Abbs and I are here for you, Grace. I hate seeing you like this, I get it's difficult sometimes but you gotta push through, things get better I promise,'' Kyle explained.

Grace just shook her head and pulled her own hands away from Kyle's. ''Things won't get better, they never do people always say that but I'm still here, I'm still hurting, I just want to disappear, Kyle.''

''Hey, hey, no, no I don't want my girl talking like that, okay? You are strong, beautiful, smart and full of this charisma that brightens mine and Abigail's moods all the time. Don't you think for a second that you should disappear, I'll miss you and I know Abigail will too, she's practically in love with you, I mean I don't blame her you're incredibly gorgeous inside and out, you're gorgeous when you're crying, you're gorgeous on your good days and on your bad days. I've known for a while that you've had a little crush on me, your eyes practically light up when you see me and the way your cheeks turn bright pink when I even just say anything is a sign of true love and if I'm being perfectly honest with you it's adorable,'' Kyle explained, grabbing hold of Grace's hands again.

The rest of the night was practically filled with Kyle just comforting Grace, squeezing her hand as they watched Netflix. Before even realising it Grace had fallen asleep and Kyle smiled and stroked her face and he fell asleep himself, he snuggled up close to Grace and she did the same. The next morning Kyle was the first to awaken, he got himself ready for the day, he unzipped the bag he had bought with him, and he began pulling on a black converse shirt, a blue champion hoodie with a pair of blue jeans and his usual converse shoes. He pulled a cute beanie over his brown curly locks of hair. Grace had only just woken up, she rubbed her eyes and flung her legs over the edge of her bed before shuffling around her room to get ready, she pulled on a white blouse, a red champion hoodie, a pair of blue jeans and her pair of Doc Martens, she grabbed her hair brush and started brushing down her locks of blonde hair. ''Good morning, Grace,'' Kyle smiled.

Grace smiled back and when Kyle had looked away and was adjusting the books in his bag Grace walked into the bathroom, she noticed the blade still placed beside the sink, her eyes glared at that grey shiny metal with dried blood all over it; she thought for a moment whether she should take but that's when Kyle wandered into the bathroom and saw his best friend about to take the blade and shove it into her hoodie pocket. ''Grace, stop put it down,'' he shouted but it was no use Grace had already stuffed it in there. Kyle just shook his head and sighed, there was no way to convince Grace that she was in the wrong and tell her that her two best friends would be devastated if she suddenly disappeared but Grace didn't seem to care. Her mental health was at stake and all Kyle and Abigail wanted to do was comfort her and stop her from trying to take her life. ''Grace, please don't cut anymore Abigail and I are so worried about you,'' Kyle explained. Grace just sighed, she pulled the blade out of her pocket and placed it back beside the sink and Kyle gave her a smile. Grace wandered back into her room, she grabbed her purple scrunchie and tied up her hair long blonde hair in a ponytail. The two teens then made their way downstairs, Grace's mum had left out some toast for the two of them, and they both grabbed the toast squares and headed out the door for school.
