A few hours went by after the last few activities, Sadie didn't participate in any of them. Fifi had prepared a beef souvlaki and salad for dinner. Sadie refused to eat this. She despised beef, she had her reasons though.
"You don't like beef?" Christian asked her.
"Heck no, I despise beef," Sadie replied.
"Why? If you don't mind me asking."
This was a hard topic for Sadie to talk about, but she told it anyway. "When I was four years old, my dad adopted a cow, he felt bad because it was very ill and hoping I could look after it I was too young and didn't have any responsibilities so it died a few days later. I cried for a week," Sadie explained.
"Sheesh, I can see how that would change anyone's opinion on beef," Christian said.
"Yeah, well don't worry about it."
Sadie started eating her salad. Christian smiled at her, Sadie rolled her eyes. "Will you stop smiling at me like that? It's scary," Sadie laughed.
"Sorry," Christian blushed, feeling guilty.
"I'm just messing with you, you can smile all you like, and it's cute."
"Are you calling me cute, Sadie?"
"Oh, don't flatter yourself," she laughed.
Both Sadie and Christian laughed, Sadie was happy she had finally found someone who enjoyed her company. She never had any friends growing up, she was proud to call Christian her best friend even though they had only known each other for a couple days.
Stella hadn't forgotten what she wanted to do to Sadie, in fact she made sure it was earlier than 8:30, she found Sadie in her bed and grabbed her by the arm. She shoved her to the floor before kicking her in the face, Tracy and Tia were preparing a rope around a tree, they weren't going to hang her just torture her. Blood dripped from Sadie's nose, she touched it with her palm as Stella pulled her up and ushered her forward and tying her wrists together with the rope above her. Sadie now stood on her tiptoes, trying to break free.
"Let me down you shits, let me go," she yelled.
"You know Sadie, you never cease to amaze me. It's just incredible honestly how much of a bitch you are, I knew you were trouble the second you walked in. You just kept proving my point, so now I'm going to do something you don't want to be alive to see," Stella threatened.
"If you're going to lecture me to death then I'd definitely rather be dead," Sadie said sarcastically.
"Shut up," Stella yelled punching her face.
"Fuck you!" Sadie shouted, elbowing Stella's nose.
Sadie, was surprised she said this word; she never says the 'F word' unless she really needed to but this seemed like an appropriate time to use it.
"You little bitch, Tracy hand me your lighter," Stella demanded.
"W-what?" Tracy stammered.
This was the first time Sadie had heard Tracy say anything, she had a croaky yet soft voice as if she had a cold.
"You heard me," Stella told her.
Tracy rummaged her pocket for the lighter Stella so longingly sought, once her hands had gripped the shiny grey cylinder Stella snatched it from her. She flicked it up, the bright orange flame right up to Sadie's face.
"Get that thing away from me," Sadie shouted.
Stella ignored her, she put the bright flame at her cheek, burning it. Sadie's now pale face had a slight burn, it wasn't bad but if Stella continued this, it would definitely get worse. Stella did this a few times, Sadie shut her eyes and bit her lip trying to fight the pain, Stella continued burning her, this time on her arms, and again Sadie fought against the pain. She was a brave girl, Stella reached into Sadie's pocket as the flame pressed up against her skin and found a 10 dollar note.
