At home, Grace practically threw herself onto the bed as she did she looked down at the blood scars on her forearms. Thoughts running through her brain like a train on a railway track. The thoughts overwhelming her and going wild, her heart was telling her to stop trying to commit suicide but her brain was telling her that she should do it, nobody loves her and nobody cares about her. Grace pressed her hands to her head and shook it frantically, she couldn't take it anymore she wanted to listen to her heart but her brain was telling her the complete opposite and she wanted to listen to that so the young girl rushed into the bathroom, rummaging the bathroom cabinets for anything to numb her pain but however that's when her eyes came across the blade again. Grace shut the cupboard door shut and grabbed hold of the blade and twirled it around in her fingers before thinking if she should keep on cutting or if she should try and numb the pain of feeling like shit in a different way. When there was a loud thundering knock at the bathroom door, Grace rolled her eyes. ''Go away, please just leave me alone,'' she shouted. As soon as she had shouted this the bathroom door pulled open and it was Abigail and Kyle standing there, big worried looks spread across their faces. ''Seriously stop checking up on me, I'm fine I promise,'' Grace reassured them, giving them a genuine smile.

''Oh no you don't, it's Friday and you know what that means,'' Kyle exclaimed, putting his hands out for Grace to grab but she didn't grab them so Kyle had to practically pull her up himself. ''It means that we're going out, we're having a fun night all three of us.''

''I don't feel like going out, Kyle,'' Grace sighed, walking away from her friends but Kyle stopped her.

Kyle grabbed her by the hand, he grabbed Abigail's hand as well as he spun them both around. ''You girls are having fun with me, Grace you need the fun and Abigail you need your best friend.'' Abigail smiled, and Grace hid a small laugh behind her now pink flushed cheeks. ''Don't try to hide that, I saw that Grace.'' The three teens rushed outside, Kyle still had a tight but not too tight grip on his best friend's hands as he dragged them down the street. After about an hour of nonstop running, the three teens had finally arrived at Kyle's house, the large two story building looming over them. It was quite the house and the best part, Kyle's mum wouldn't be home for another few hours. They practically had the house to themselves. ''All right, what you girls wanna do?'' Kyle asked, pulling his hands out of his best friend's hands and reaching into his pocket for his keys. Once his fingers had gripped the cold hard metal he placed it into the latch and turned it, opening the door and gesturing his hand out like a gentleman letting his best friends head in first. Abigail and Grace smiled at him and he headed inside himself and locked the door behind him. ''We can watch movies, blast music and eat food and drink whatever we want to our hearts consent. You need to have some fun Grace, Abigail and I just want to see you happy.''

Grace smiled, not one of those fake smiles but a genuine smile; her cheeks blushed bright red a bit like a tomato as she engulfed her friend into a hug. ''I wish I could be happy but there's just lots of things going on right now,'' Grace explained.

''Like what?'' Abigail asked, grabbing her best friend's hands and squeezing them.

''I'll uh go prepare the food and drinks while you guys talk,'' Kyle muttered, dashing off.

Abigail nodded, she still had a hold of Grace's hands. ''Listen, Abbs I'm really sorry about how I treated you today, I yelled at you and stabbed you in the arm when I know you were just trying to help me. I know I can be a little distant and upset with myself sometimes but that's just because I've been dealing with a lot throughout my life and I wish that something truly awful would happen to me so I don't have to witness anymore of the shit I'm going through. Part of me wished you didn't save me that day but another part of me was glad that you did or I would have disappeared. I know you and Kyle have been doing your best but it just doesn't feel like things will ever get better for me, I've been trying, I've been trying to run away from my problems but I just I simply can't, it all just comes crawling back and I can't control anything. It's like that feeling you get when you feel so mentally and physically drained and you just sit there contemplating about how shitty your life is and that you wished you had different life, I mean my mum's a fucking alcoholic and a huge bitch to me for no reason and my dad believes me to a mistake and that god never should have allowed me to live. If he really hates me that much why hasn't he killed me? That's the question I ask myself every day, the other question I ask myself is if I didn't have the parents I did would my life be a little better? So yeah I'm sorry if I hate myself, or that I feel like a disappointment to everyone around me, I've tried finding ways to cope all my life but it always leads to that same relapse of cutting myself, it hurts like hell but I don't care anymore. All I want is to not feel like a disappointment to the girl that I love so damn much in this world,'' Grace explained, her hands intertwined with Abigail's.

All Abigail could do was give her best friend the longest and biggest hug of her life as she basically sobbed over her shoulder and Grace doing the exact same thing. The two girls pulled away from each other but remained holding hands as Kyle walked in, he held two small boxes of sodas stacked on top of each other. ''Kyle, you asshole you missed Grace's ramble,'' Abigail exclaimed just as Kyle placed the boxes onto the dining table.

''Well dang, I leave for one minute and I miss the most important things. Sorry Grace,'' Kyle apologised.

''Its fine,'' Grace smiled.

Kyle smiled back. ''Okay, we got Coca-Cola, lemonade, Pepsi, creaming soda, sprite, mountain dew and ginger beer,'' he said, pointing to each of the individual bottles.

''And the food?'' Abigail questioned.

''Hang on, Abbs hold your horses geez,'' Kyle rolled his eyes. Grace laughed and the two girls followed Kyle into the kitchen, towards the pantry. The only thing they could basically eat was chips and popcorn, sour cream and chives, cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, sweet chilli grain waves and chicken flavoured chips and butter and salted caramel flavoured popcorn.

''Now that is some good shit you got there, Kyle,'' Abigail laughed, practically grabbing all the bags of chips and dropping them on the dining table, she popped open the cheese and onion chips and shoved them into her mouth.

After the three friends had grabbed their food and drinks, they headed upstairs to the biggest room in Kyle's house. It was a massive open space, basically like a theatre room with giant red seats and a massive TV screen on the wall, a wooden cabinet with a glass door just underneath it full of video games and Kyle's Xbox. Abigail was still shoving chips into her mouth when Kyle had switched on the TV and pressed on Netflix. ''Since we're here for you, Grace, since we are trying to make you happy. What movie would you like to watch?'' Kyle asked, handing his best friend the remote.

It took a while for Grace to choose a movie since she always watched the Netflix shows. In fact it was hard for them all to choose a movie that they both enjoyed due to them all liking different genres. Grace was a lover of drama, Abigail was a sucker for romance and Kyle was a horror/thriller type of guy. ''It's so hard to find a movie we can all enjoy,'' Abigail sighed, throwing the empty packet of cheese and onion chips on the white carpet.

''Did you just eat all my chips?'' Kyle asked, tilting his head giving his friend a mum look.

''Yeah I did, have a problem with that?'' Abigail laughed, grabbing the sour cream and chives bag but Kyle pulled it away from her.

''Yeah I do have a problem, you're not eating anymore of my chips,'' Kyle shouted.

''You guys I found a movie,'' Grace exclaimed.

Abigail and Kyle shot their heads up to see 'Enola Holmes' playing on the TV. Grace loved this movie, she watched it constantly and never got tired of it. However Abigail and Kyle weren't the biggest fans of the movie but to make Grace happy they'd watch it with her. The next few hours were of the three friends just watching movies from 'Forrest Gump' to 'Grease' to 'The Conjuring,' just pretty much any iconic movie you could think of they practically watched. After about one more hour of watching movies Kyle's mum came clambering up the stairs. She smiled, and left the three teenagers a plate of cookies and milkshakes. Kyle's mum was the sweetest person, she ended up calling Abigail and Grace's parents telling them that they'd be staying over at her house for a sleepover. Abigail's mum was of course okay with it but Grace's parents couldn't even care less if their daughter was home or not.
