When squad comes out

Introductories

I had gathered the group before the locked doors of the main hall, some seemed to have been reluctant to even be there and were close enough as to have left the area. I had just managed to arrive as the first person was about to leave,
'Okay then guys, you ready?' I asked, a smug smile on my face, Jake turned to face me,
'Ready for what?' He asks, Oscar nods in agreement,
'Yeah, Mark...' He also questions, I rolled my eyes, made my way to the door and placed a hand on the small scanner that locked the door without proper authority, a moment later the light turned red but slowly flickered into green. I pulled open the door, much to everyone's surprise.

They had all filed into the room, it was dimly lit and seemed draughty as the chairs were drawn back, granting a bigger place. I walked over to the switches and turned on all the lights. I had to make this quick,
'Alright, everyone?' I asked for their attention, the quite whispers died down and the suspicion raised even higher,
'All right, Mark. This some sort of prank?' Lewis sighed, clearly unwilling to go on with this. I shook my head,
'No, I just needed to tell you all to meet me at the end of school. We need to go to a place where we can speak without unwanted ears,' I simply stated, this just riled them up even more. I steeled myself,
'What? Nah, me and the lads planned to come out this afternoon,' Adam argued, the other guys nodding in agreement, Oscar raised his brows questioningly,
'How 'bout me gu-' he began,
'Fuck off,' they answered simultaneously
'Guys! Stay on topic please,' I called out, now the girls joined in,
'This is not worth my time,' groaned Ffion, making to grab Lucy's hand, 'let's go Lucy,' before things became out of control, I said one thing,
'You all had a dream heading to school didn't you?' This caught their attention, all of them froze, 'you all went to school, not remembering how you got there, but when you reached school grounds, that's what you remember, right? Very, very clearly,' I continued, I saw a few nervous gulps, Euan Mackay shook his head,
'No wait, how do we know you're not lying to us and this is just a coincidence,' he questioned, though me knowing what they all dreamed was near impossible with what they currently know about me now, I stared him in the eyes,
'In your dream you saw a girl about to be run over,' I began to explain, 'how did you save her?' Euan took a step back,
'I ran to her...' He thought, 'from all the way across...'
'The street? No, all the way from the literal opposite end of the road is more exact,' I contradicted, everyone watched with piercing stares, realisation dawned upon them, 'what if I told you, you are capable of doing exactly what you were able to do in your dream' Euan shook his head hesitantly, I turned to Lewis,
'You can transform,' I said, 'into anything and anyone,'
'You,' I said, turning to Tom, 'can plagiarise your much loved Metallica albums,' I explained, 'in your dream, Tom. You literally rode the Lightning.' I stepped back to my original place, 'If you want to know more, meet me at the end of school,' with that, I walked off. 'One more thing, everyone in this group right now, you're all on a club I just made up, we just had our first meeting and no one else, strictly, is allowed to join.' The door slammed with a resounding thud.
