When squad comes out

First Warning

Jake's POV
It was dark, nothing to be heard, seen or felt. But one thing was certain, someone was watching me.
'Looks like you can notice me now,' she--it said, 'I'm coming after you~' she teased, giggling as she did so, but this laugh. It seemed as if it could freeze water, that's how cold it was. The laugh trailed off into the depths of my mind, I was sure I'd see this person again...
I shot up from bed, my breaths deep and scattered. I was right, I couldn't forget a dream like that, or was it a nightmare? Brushing it off, I stand and get ready to face the day.

School had flown by fast with the prospect of being able to break concrete, I'm so 'ench. I had met up with everyone and we were all making our way back, it had rained the night before so puddles were every where. James even had the audacity to fling some at the girls.
'James!' Mark calls, something clicked, 'don't you ever do that, not in public!' He retorts, James seems to have been caught off-guard by this reaction, so was I...and everyone else.
'Gee Mark, I won't do it again,' James almost stutters, Mark shook his head,
'No, I meant it, don't, not in public, you understand?' He continued, James looked at him worriedly,
'Wh-why?' He asks, Mark took a deep breath,
'The powers we have, people would kill to have talents such as ours. But if we were caught, even by a picture or anything, we'd be investigated.' A realisation dawned upon the group, 'then knowing the world as it is, we'd be more than investigated, we'd be researched. I can't afford to lose any of you to some weird foreign government, with them doing who-knows-what with you guys.' He looked down at the ground, fists clenched. James nodded,
'Yeah...okay, I get it.' He said sympathetically, after a moment Mark raised his face and formed a smile,
'Then let's get going,'

I can wait, they're not ready yet. But I'm gonna do something soon enough, stunt the problem before it even arouses. I laugh to myself...
