Austin's POV
When Maxine came in the kitchen she smelled pregnant. After three kids, I know how it smells. It smells like warm milk, not a bad smell though.
"Maxine?" I ask while spooning her
"Yes?" She responded
"You smell pregnant." I say slowly
Maxine quickly turns to face me.
"What do you mean?" She asks
"After three kids, I know what it smells like. Remember when you killed Lauren's wolf and we walked and I told you you were pregnant?" I say
"Yes, I should've killed her then." Maxine says quietly
"Well she's in he'll now but you smell like it." I justify
"Is this bad?" I ask
"Not at all, you know how we needed another son." I say
Maxine nods
"Why can I never smell it?" She asks
"Remember, because it's you." I smile and run my hands through her curly hair
"I hope it's a boy because I can't keep pushing out these babies" Maxine says
"But we make sexy babies and you know it's fun making them." I say lowly
"Well it is fun and I guess you're right." She says smiling
I smile and pull her on top of me. He lets her ponytail down and all of her hair flops into her face and on my chest. I laugh as she let out a sigh of annoyance as she tries moving it out her face. I push her hair back and kiss her forehead. Before I know it Maxine doesn't move any more and she lets out soft snores. I kiss the top of her head.
Maxine's POV
"So I'm not pregnant?" I ask my mother
"No, but keep trying." My mom says
"I really wanted to be; Austin and I keep trying, he really wants another boy" I say
"Well you smell like it but you're not, just really fertile." My mom says
I nod my head and run a hand through my hair. What am I going to do.
I hug my mom and walk out of the clinic wing up to Austin's office. I see him cuddling Sam while looking at his laptop. He's wrapped around their finger, got Sam sleep on him.
"I'm not wrapped around their finger." Austin says
"What are you doing then?" I ask
"I'm letting her sleep." He says quietly.
I shake my head and breathe
"What did your mom say?" Austin asks
I look down and Austin groans.
"She said I'm really fertile though." I say
"Yes but I thought you were pregnant." Austin says
"Me too." I said quietly
"Come here." Austin says
"You have Sam" I say
"I can hold both of my girls." Austin smiles
I giggle and walk over and pick up Sam and sit in Austin's lap. Austin kisses my cheek and cuddles Sam and I.
"Vicky look, their cuddling." Xavier says
Xavier crawls on my legs and Victoria comes in and gets on Austin's back. I start laughing as he gets up with Xavier, Sam, and I in his arms and Victoria on his back and walks downstairs to the parlor where a lot of the pack was. A lot of them smiled as we made it outside. As Austin was carrying us towards the house with Xavier now sleep with Sam.
"Two down, one more to go." Austin minds
I smile as I open the front door to a quiet house that neither Austin or me has gotten used to since Jessica and Jackson built a cottage deeper into the woods. I get down and get Xavier and carry him into his room. I walk downstairs to see Austin and Victoria sleep on the couch so I pick Victoria up and carry to her room. I look at my eldest immediately snuggle into her sheets, she looks like me.
I walk back downstairs where Austin was snoring on the couch. I still can't believe that in six years I have all of this and hopefully another one on the way.
Soon I heard knocking on the door. I don't know what's with knocking, why not ring the doorbell.
I open the door to see the same hunters.
"So-sorry Luna, there's more demons we caught." Sam, one of the hunters says.
I look to see if Austin was awake but he was still snoring so I lock the door and follow the down to the pack house's basement. In the cell chained up were two female demons, both with raven hair.
"Didn't my mate already kill two of your men?" I ask
"Yes you slut, one of them were my companion!" The demon with the cape on said.
I walk up to her and back hand her.
"Don't raise your voice or I'll get my mate in here and show off his signature move. Have you heard of it?" I ask talking about him shoving heads up other people.
"Now, why are you on my territory?" I ask
"Simple, to kill you" The other demon says
"Well then, how was it?" I ask jokingly
"Bitch" The other demon says
"Well this was nice but how about this." I say
The demons looked confused at each other. Beford they could look at me I grabbed a baseball bat from the corner.
"Batter up!" I scream before swinging the bat at both of the heads of the demons, making them knock into the wall.
I order for them to dispose of the bodies and bump into a smirking Austin.
"Your mom is at the house." Austin says before picking me up and carrying me to my old room....
