Maxine's pov
"So you threw up all your stomach?" Melissa asks after I told her what happened
"Yeah, this morning. I just hope this is it because I really want to give Austin another son." I say as I bite into my Cinnabon that's covered in salt
"Did he say you smell differently? You know he'll be able to smell it." Melissa says
"Austin said he couldn't really tell because I've been in heat a lot but he did say I smell sweeter." I say
I look around the Cinnabon shop to only see the teenage cashier scrolling through her phone. I sigh and turn to face Melissa who look like she's in deep thinking.
Lately I've been thinking about waiting for another child. After that stunt the demons pulled and their recent threats, I've been thinking now isn't a good time.
Bzzzz Bzzzzz Bzzzzz My phone went off for the billionth time today. I don't answer saved phone numbers.
"Maxine, you ready? Melissa asks while getting up
"Yeah just let me get some more for the road." I say
"Maxine, you're thick enough" Melissa says laughing
I shot her a look and we both start laughing....
Austin's POV
Where is she? I wonder as I glance down at my watch
Sam came out like usual but her older sister still hasn't came out.Usually they'll be the first ones waiting but not today. After thirty minutes of waiting, I decide to go in.
I get out of the carpool lane and park the truck. I march up to through the school kind of annoyed of the reason why Victoria is held back while most of their classmates already been picked up. I walk through the school with Sam on my back to Victoria's class room where she's giving Ginna, the new teacher a look like her mother.
"Mr.Earlie" Ginna says
"Hey, why is my daughter held back?" I asked now completely pissed off
"Well Victoria decided to be mean to one of her classmates for being mean to her." Ginna says seriously
My anger went from shock to anger again.
"And where is her other classmate?" I ask
"Her parents already came in but I tried calling your wife but she wouldn't answer.." Ginna says
I sighed and picked up Victoria on my other hip.
"We're having a talk when we get in the car missy." I mind to Victoria
"I'll talk to her about this outburst, it won't happen again. But don't ever hold my daughter back, do we understand? You can't get in touch of my wife you call me." I say, my alpha coming out
Ginna gave me a gulp and nodded her head yes. I nod and walked out to the truck. Once we're down the road some I bring up what happened.
"Now Victoria, why in the hell did you do that?" I asked now just annoyed
"Because Jenette tried to say my pencils were cheap along with my clothes and I told her her momma cheap for wearing all those short skirts." Victoria says just like Maxine
I tried to hold in a laughter as Sam gasps. I swear Victoria is just like Maxine to the point it's scary.
"Look girls I'm going to give you advice I'ma need you keep. Sometimes it's better to let that person seem stupid than to say something back because guess what, you'll be stupid too." I say as we turn into the driveway
"But what if they don't stop?..." Sam says in a whisper
"Them Daddy will kick their butts like he always does, right daddy?" Victoria says
"Right baby" I say smiling
I help them into the house where Maxine is cooking something with a spoon in her mouth.
"Hey mommy" the girls say in unison
"Hey mommy" I say while snaking my arms around her
"Daddy! You home?" Xavier screams and runs up to me and I pick him up
"Hey bud, you have fun with grandpa?" I ask
"Yeah! We did races and he teach me to hunt!" Xavier says
"That's great bud, now go play while I talk to mommy." I say
Xavier runs off and I turn back to Maxine.
"So how about your mini you struck again at school." I say
"Jesus, what did she say?" Maxine asks
"So Sam already came out and I was waiting for at least thirty minutes before I went in there and the new teacher held her in and apparently some girl tried to call her stuff cheap so Mini you said that her mama was cheap for wearing short skirts all the time." I say
Maxine bursts into laughter and she holds herself on the counter. I burst into laughter too as we both let tears stream from our eyes.
"That's our daughter" Maxine says in between laughter
"Wait so she just kept Victoria and didn't let anyone know? Why didn't she call us?" Maxine asks getting serious
"She claimed she called you but you didn't answer" I say
"So that's who was calling me. Why didn't she call from the school? That wasn't the school's number." Maxine says
"I thought she called you from the school but I told her to call me if she couldn't get in touch with you." I say
"No, that hoe can call from the school like a regular teacher. Now my number in her phone. I'll drop the girls off tomorrow because I want to meet this hoe and know why she had the audacity to call off of her phone." Maxine says
"Don't you go in there cause hell. Victoria already did that." Austin said
Maxine gave me a look and I returned it. She forgets who's also Alpha of that pussy....
