Austin's POV
The sunlight danced across my face as I snuggle closer to my beautiful mate. I secure my arms tighter around her waist as I doze back off into sleep but she had another idea. Maxine ran to to bathroom as I try to process what's going on. Did I squeeze her stomach to tight that it made her have to pee? Something is wrong with my baby and I'm over here thinking!
I ran to the bathroom Maxine was throwing up everything she has ever ate. I try to comfort her as I try to figure out an explanation. I don't think we had bad food or else the kids would have gotten it first. I wish I could smell it out but she has the same scent ever since she's been in heat but although it does smell a little more sweeter.
Maxine stops after awhile and looked up at me. I hand her the toothbrush she points at and passed it to her along with the toothpaste. She sits on the toilet seat and brushes her teeth. I brush my teeth too since there wasn't anything else for me to do. We sat in silence for two hours; the kids woke up to get ready for school.
"Mom" I say into the phone
"Yes hun." My mother answers
"Can you take Xavier with you and the girls to school?" I ask
"Of course! I've been waiting for you to ask me!" My my screams into the phone
"Thanks mom."
I watch tv in the living room as Maxine dresses Xavier. I walk to the girl's room to see if they're ready. I hear the door open and knew it was my mom so I walk the kids downstairs which my mother practically throws them in her car. I chuckle before locking the door and going to mt mate.
She was lying on the bed on her phone mindlessly. I lay beside her, laying my arm around her torso. She gets off her phone and turns towards me. I kiss her hot temple; she has a slight fever.
"Baby, do you feel bad?" I ask her
"I just feel sick in my stomach." She says as she cuddles up to me.
"Can you smell me?" Maxine asks suddenly
"I tried, you smell the same, just a little sweeter..." I say
"Sweeter?" Maxine asks
"Yeah, its a little noticeable but it smells really good." I say
"You think I could be pregnant?" Maxine asks with a hopeful glint in her eye.
"The smell is sweeter, maybe." I say while smiling
I hope she is because we both have been wanting this for a while. I secretly hope I have a set of twins, hell I've been busting in her enough.
"Austin!" Maxine says and playful slaps my arm
"It's the truth though!" I say
"What if it's two boys?" Maxine asks
"That'll be tough but I want a boy and a girl, baby." I say
Maxine smiles and gets up from the bed and walks to the bathroom. I lay on my back before I drift off into a dream and woke up to Maxine fully dressed.
"Babe, I'm going out with Melissa." She says
"Ok baby, if you need me you know what to do." I say as I watch her ass as she walks out
I roll out of bed and let out a yawn. I feel so lazy but I can't be, I'll fail the pack.
My phone vibrated and I checked it to see a text from Weston asking if I wanted to meet up so I replied yes. I get dressed in some joggers and a black t-shirt before going to my truck and driving into town...
