Austin's POV
She's really pregnant. I'm so happy that I have another child on the way! All that batter I put in her she better have one in the oven.
"I can hear you." Maxine says
I kiss Maxine as I had her in a deep embrace.
"I'm so happy you're finally pregnant." I say
Maxine punches me in the arm and we both start laughing.
"Shut up. We both know it was going to happen eventually. I thought we were going to make multiples in one blow as many loads you blew." Maxine says
"It must've happened before we left." I say
"That's what I was thinking because before you said I smelt the same but then again you said I smelled sweeter." Maxine says
"It had to be within the last week." I say
"Maybe. It has to be then." Maxine says
"Must be ." I agree
"What are we going to do with the baby?" Maxine asks
"All we can do is keep him for now. I don't know where to start looking for his family or whoever was taking care of him."
As on time, Joe starts to cry and Maxine walks over to him and picks him up. Instantly he starts to calm down and Maxine brings him back to the bed.
"He's a pretty baby." Maxine cooed
Joe looks at Maxine as if she's amazing. I stroke his little baby hair as Maxine rocks him. The thought of how I found him makes me so angry, my father instincts just comes out. I will torture those demons until I get an answer and I'll make sure it's not pretty.
Soon Joe's breathing slows and Maxine puts him back in the crib. She then climbs in bed with me and lays her head on my chest.
"I missed you." Maxine says
"I did too. Let's agree to never split again." I say
"Agreed" Maxine says
Maxine's POV
I wake up up the next morning to silence. Joe barely cried last night and it was only once because he needed a diaper change. I walk up to his crib to see him just staring up.
"Hey baby." I say as I pick him up
Joe cuddles into my chest and I walk downstairs to fix him a bottle. I don't know if he's human or what but he's not a werewolf nor vampire or demon. And he doesn't seem human. Whatever he is, I hope he's good. He's different, I can tell but I just don't know what...
I feed him his bottle and burp him before turning on the tv to the Wendy William's Show for the daily shade. I hear fast footsteps coming down and I know it's the kids..
"Mom, Samantha won't give me my tablet!" Victoria screams
"It's not your tablet, it's for the three of y'all so you guys need to share." Austin says as he comes down shirtless.
Victoria puts down her head and follows Sam into the play room. Austin looks at me and smirks.
"Good morning." Austin says as he walks over to me and kisses my forehead
"Morning" I say
"Here let me take him." Austin says as he takes Joe and puts him on his chest
"We need to find out what he is, I know. I just don't know where to start." Austin says
"Why don't we ask your mother? You know she knows almost all types of supernaturals." I say
"Yes but we have to give her some sort of description. Wait, we could use a DNA sample but I don't know how far it'll take us." Austin says
"Well it doesn't hurt to try." I say
"That's true, I'll talk to my mom when I see her." Austin says
I kiss his cheek and get up to fix breakfast...
"Kaylee" I say to the new sentinel
"Hi Luna." Kaylee says
"I need for you to run this DNA sample. Austin found a baby as you know and we're trying to find out what the baby is." I say
"Ok, it'll take me sometime but I'll let you know when I come up with something." Kaylee says
"Thanks" I say and walk out
I walk to Austin's office to see him on the phone so I sit across from him and watch. I look at his strong defined face..he's so handsome! The way his thick eyebrows come together and his eyes filled with authority and demanding respect....my alpha
Austin looks at me and smirks.
"Come here" Austin says
I walk over to him and he pats his lap. I sit down on his lap facing him.
"You know it's not nice to get hot while pregnant." Austin says while grazing my neck
"Why's that?" I ask
"Because I can't knock you up again until you have this one." Austin says
I smack him upside the head.
"You smoking crack? I should've known...I'm not having anymore kids!" I say
Austin looks like someone slapped him in the face...the nerve.
"Wha-what you mean? I want more." Austin says
"But I don't, we could possibly have five kids! Four if we find Joe's parents!" I say
"So! You know I want a lot of kids." Austin says
"We have a lot! I'm not about to be like 19 kids and counting... We counted enough." I say
"We don't have to have nineteen but maybe three more. And we don't have to have them soon but we're still young." Austin says
"Well you should've thought about that before you knocked me up back to back." I say
"Well you took it." Austin says
"I didn't have no other choice you seduced me! I thought we were stopping at three!" I say
"You know you love it when I dump it in you." Austin growls as he tries to slip a hand in my pants
"Austin we're arguing! Not getting sexual!" I say
"Really, what you want me to do? I can't get any type of surgery." Austin says
I raised an eyebrow
"Oh no..." Austin gasps
"Oh yes..."
