Maxine's POV
Your girl was snacking on Austin's jerky stash; don't tell him. I was eating jerky but I smelled a familiar scent and I got really excited.
"Hoe I know your pregnant ass smell me!" Jessica says out of no where
"Jessica! I barely get to see you anymore!" I say breaking down out of nowhere
"It's been a week" Jessica says
"But you barely been apart of this crazy ass story" I say
"We chilled while it was Austin's point of view, remember?" She says
Damn this crazy story, putting me through all this. Anyways, Jessica is here!
"Get ya pregnant ass up, we going out." Jessica says
"What about the kids?" I ask
"I saw them at the pack house." Jessica says
"I told them to stay home and clean their rooms. I'm going to beat their ass." I say
"Austin, I'm going out with Jessica. The kids are at the pack house." I mind-link him
"Ok baby." He minds me
I go upstairs and throw on some yoga pants and tank top that showed off my noticeable belly.
We decided to take my new jeep into town.
"This is nice. Too bad you won't be able to fit all the kids in here." Jessica says
"Shit, that's a better reason for me to drive this. After this kid that's it." I say
"Jackson better be happy with that one son he has." Jessica says
"Austin wanted another son! This our fourth child we're having. I don't know what to tell him if he wants more." I say
It's the truth. We'll have five kids counting Joe. I think that's enough.
"Better go get that teacher pregnant..." I say spilling the tea
Jessica slowly turned her head to me. I'm about to spill it to her.
"Wait what did you just say?" Jessica asked as she adjusts herself in her seat
"Vicky's new teacher been all over Austin. Plus, that bitch tried me by saying Austin came there and she didn't see me." I say pressing the gas a little more
"Let's go kill the hoe." Jessica said
"I was about to until Austin dragged me away." I said
We turn into this baby boutique and it was the cutest.
"You better let Austin know he can't keep holding you back. As much as he be flipping off on people in public." Jessica preaches
*another flashback*
"Damn baby you shouldn't have worn those out here." Austin says as he looks at my cut off denim shorts for the billionth time
"But they're cute." I say
"They're not cute with all that ass you showing off. Damn, were getting you a pair of sweat pants." Austin says with his eyes trained on my ass
We were at this festival and it was too hot to be wearing pants. It was before we had the girls so I looked a little younger.
"Yo, all that ass baby girl don't make sense. I know that white boy don't know how to handle it." This one dude yelled out
I look at Austin's whole face turn red as he walks over to the dude and instantly towers over him.
"Say it now. This white boy will beat your ass and handle my girl's ass. Stupid bitch can't do shit." Austin said squaring up with the dude
By then the poor dude looked scared as hell and a crowd was starting to form. I was so scared Austin was going to step on him. I tried to pull Austin away but he didn't budge.
Sometimes it's better not to say anything at all. Why do people feel like it's ok to say this type of fuckery out loud? Little does this dude know he not only made an attempt at a his Luna but challenged an Alpha. This is taken very seriously by Alphas.
"Disrespectful fuck, the hell wrong with you." Austin said getting more in his face
By this point I had two guys try to help me pull Austin away which was hard.
"Dude you better run while we got him. He's going to kill your ass." One of the guys holding him back said
Austin finally calmed down but we just left. My shorts were giving me a wedgie low-key and Austin was so pissed he was hot.
*end of flashback*
"Well I didn't actually let him fight. I can't let him go down for murder." I say as we get out
We head into the brightly lit baby store and my eyes instantly goes on this stuffed wolf. Joe automatically pops into my mind but why. He's a shapeshifter not a werewolf but he can change into one. Part of me wants his main shape shift to be a wolf but I can't influence it.
I look at the wolf more time with its plastic sparkly eyes and fuzzy face. It still wouldn't hurt to get it right?
After a while we find some stuff for Joe and the baby on the way. We load up the jeep along with the wolf and drive off. We stop at a restaurant to chill out and eat. I was hungry and I'll pay top dollar for food if I have to.
Anyways I was munching on some ribs, minding my own business when I heard a deep voice behind me.
"You make eating ribs look good." The voice said
I turned around and this light skin god was grinning in my face. The same face covered in sticky barbecue sauce. I felt my face flutter as he gave off an easy smile, with his green eyes and high cheekbones. What am I thinking?
"I see your with child and a ring but you are beautiful and a grown man can handle obstacles. Oh, by the way my name is Enzo" Enzo said before handing me a business card.
"Nothing can stop a man." Enzo said before walking away
"Enzo Harato. Beauty consultant." The business card read
Jessica looked at me with her eyebrows raised.
"Girl he is fine and all but Austin will kill you and him" Jessica said
"I know. But I have everything I need at home anyways." I say before tearing it up the card and leaving it on the table.
