Milo

It's been a week

Caleb has been avoiding me, and Damien has been with Brandon most of the time.

I haven't really said anything to my new cabin mates. They've said hey to me and I respond but I don't let a conversation form.

Even though we were ignoring one another, I was still keeping an eye on Caleb. And he might not want to admit it, but I could tell he was keeping on me too.

During the morning when we're supposed to make Breakfast for one another, we don't speak at all. I wouldn't even eat, I would immediately leave once we were done serving. Not a sound is heard. And I hate it. Usually I love silence when people are around. But with them? Hearing their voice loud and proud is way better than the most silent room.

But I should have told Damien in the first place and we wouldn't be in this situation.

Separated from one another

Now that we're separated, me and Caleb are in more danger than before. No one knows that we're being targeted. No one knows we could be killed in any moment. Cameron and Blake knows that we're being targeted, but he doesn't know who specifically. Do we tell him? Then he'll most likely tell Mia. But we need people to help us. At least 3 people.

I'll tell Cameron and Blake everything, because I trust them. But I need to tell at least one more person. Someone that's close to Lisa. Which is one person.

Her sister; Olivia.

But I don't know if she's truthworthy, I know very little about her. And she did cheat during the canoeing race. But she's close to Lisa, and I need to get as much information about Lisa as possible. But if I find she is working with her or even if she knows about what her sister is doing and isn't saying or doing anything about it, I'm gonna need someone else. But I'll think about that when time comes.

"Hey Olivia?"

She turns her head away from whatever conversation she was having with some girl.

"Who are you?"

"Milo. The guy that—"

"That was injured by chasing away a bear." She said and it kinda pissed me off that, that was the only thing she remembered me by.

"I was going to say the guy that has been serving you food every morning." I say with a small eye roll.

"That too. What do you want?"

"I need your help." I tell her. My plan was to tell her to meet up with me once everyone was in their cabins and go into the woods to look for my wallet that I dropped. Which was a far fetch, because who actually brings a wallet to a summer camp? Actually, probably a few people.
But this was a way to gain her trust. To see if she would take me out while we were outside in the dark, alone. Or to see if she knew what her sister was doing.

"With?" She tilts her head and I grab her by the wrist and drag her away, which makes the girl she was talking to look at me weird but I ignored it.

Once I lead her somewhere with less people she pulls her arm away and slightly glares. "What is your deal? You can't just pull me away from." She groans before crossing her arms, "What could you possibly want from me?"

"I need you meet up with me once everyone are in their cabins and make sure no one knows you're here." I say and she stands straight as her eyes darken suspiciously at me. "Are you gonna try something? What is so important that you ask your friends, why me?"

I didn't think that far ahead, I didn't think she'd ask why. But obviously she would ask why? Who would just meet up with someone at night?

What was I supposed to say

"I need someone to talk to." I say, I felt like I was begging for attention for some reason. "And me and my friend ms aren't on talking terms."

She rolls her eyes, "Still not answering my question, why me specifically— nevermind actually. Do I look like a fucking therapist?"

"Close enough, you're brutally honest, and have no emotional attachment to me, so you'll say what needs to be said." I say with a shrug and she still looked slightly suspicious of me, but I brushed it off.

"Fine. But if you try anything. Ill have you hanging on a tree by your underwear." She said before walking off, and I could almost feel the wedgie.

"Such a 90's highschool bully thing to say—" Before I could finish my sentence out a hand  clamped over my mouth and another wrapped around me before yanking me away.

Once I was able to get free I saw it was Mr Axel and my eyes widened. He grabbed me by the neck and slammed me against the tree. I couldn't breath as I looked up at him desperately.

"You don't know how long I've waited for this." He darkly chuckled, I was clawing at his hand, trying to release his grip somehow, but his grip only tightened.

"Your father. Blame him for this. If he kept his nose in his own business you wouldn't have to go through this." He hm'd as he watched me struggle, I tried kicking and punching him but my arms and legs were to short to reach.
Air couldn't make it's was through my lungs and I couldn't do anything about it.

Think Milo think!

You can't die here, you have to protect Caleb!

Fake it

I began to make my movements become weak because making it look like I was about to go unconscious.

"You know, once you go unconscious I'm going to kill you. Ill simply hide you until  night fall and then toss you into the lake, and you'll be joining your father."

I shut my eyes, but his grip doesn't faulter. I could feel myself loosing consciousness. He wasn't going to let up. I can't pass out, or it's over for me. I won't ever wake up.

I sense him lean in and I open my eyes, black circles almost fill my vision entirely but dig my nails into his skin and painfully scratch him as hard as I could, he threw me to the ground and his his bleeding cheek. Before I could stand up he stomped on my wound and I let out a scream.

"You bitch, I was going to wait and give you a nice death. But now I'll beat your ass to death."

I couldn't stand up, each attempt would make me cry in pain, but I had to get out of here. I used the tree and pulled myself up, before I could get all the way up he punched me in the side, making me almost fall but I kept a death grip on the tree.
Before he throws another hit I quickly limped away, the pain in my leg making me groan and grunt with each movement. Eventually I make it back to the camp. I fall to the grass, harshly breathing from the stabbing feeling in my leg as I looked down at my calf. It looked purple, luckily it wasn't bleeding. But I knew I wasn't gonna be able to stand up on my own.

"Milo, who the fuck did this to you?"

I hear the familiar voice growled, which made me look around until I spotted him.
