Philani arrived at Mfundo's work with rage. He went straight to his office while one has tried to stop him.
Fortunately, he was on his way to get something to eat and meets up with him in the public eye where it was just a regular normal day. Wed maybe, 14:11pm.
"Ufunani wena la?" Mfundo asked.
"Um'shayeleni uMandisa?" Philani asked,while he backed his shirt up.
Lwandle walks in with files and sees a commotion happening with Mfundo and Philani. She places her files aside and rushes to them.
"Ey ey ey!" Lwandle screams.
"Uboshaya ontanga bakho! Uyekele abantu bes'fazane doti!" Philani yelled .
"Mfundo! Kwenzekeni?kwenzekalani bhuti?" Lwandle comes in between them.
"Sis'wami,cela usuke ngishaye lomuntu." Philani politely said.
"Akekho umuntu oyoshaya omunye ngikhona! Musani ukuzihlaza especially wena Mfundo!" Lwandle reprimands.
"Sis'wami ngicela usuke ukuze ngishaye lenja!" He showed his anger.
"Uzong'hoxisela lelogama bhuti, ubhut'wami lo and you cannot just walk in and demand to fight him. Back off!" Lwandle also showed some rage.
"Life Medical Centre, Medical Ward, room 2C. Ingatholani mfanyana ngoba ngizok'bulala. " Philani looked at Lwandle and walks away slowly.
The customers resumed with their food and the waiters as well. Lwandle turns to Mfundo.
"And then? Ubani loya?" Lwandle asked.
The two take a seat at the bar stand.
"Ilendoda uMandisa ang'febela ngayo." Mfundo said and orders a strong drink.
"Mandisa uyafeba?aybo. Kanjani nje?" Lwandle asked.
"Angazi, Lwandle. Ngyam'thanda uMandisa" Mfundo sips his whiskey and Clears throat
"Someone like her cheat?ay ngeke. Lomfana uthe "life Medical centre" ubethini vele?" Lwandle asked.
"Ey ung'manaki Lwandle,uyagula loya." Mfundo said
"Ay alright ke." Lwandle said and continued with the day.
Lethu called Osi to come see Mandisa as well, she was still asleep. Lethu stayed with Mandisa for a few hours and then went to check her mother to another hospital who had no clue that Mandisa is in another hospital.
She just walked in and found her mother in pipes and soaked in drips, the nurse pushes Lethu away.
"What's wrong?what happened to her?!" Lethu cried and started to fight but the nurse calls in the Security.
She stayed,waiting for them outside and finally comes out, The doctor.
"You're okay?" He asked.
"What's happening with my mother?" Lethu asked.
"Well...I was hoping that next week will be her last week here but (shakes his head no)." He said
"Wha..what do you mean hoping?is she okay?" Lethu started worrying and sounded heartbroken.
"She has never responded this way with the treatment I gave her until today. She was recovering but unfortunately she started having chest pains, dyspnea, edema etc. It is the chemical reaction she's getting from Bone Cancer treatment, we are also running some tests. Trust me when i say there is no alternative way for me to treat her. " the doctor said.
"Her heart is going to stop?" Lethu asked.
"Let's be hopeful but I can't promise you anything beyond. " He said, and gave her a shoulder pat.
