Bab'Zwide knocks at Lwandle's door and takes off his hat. She comes about to open the door and stands there with a huge sigh relief.
"Ngingak'siza?" She asked.
"Sacela s'khulume ndodakazi." Bab'Zwide said.
Lwandle's apartment was clean,she was just taking a nap from the sofa. The two take a seat at the sitting room.
"Unjani mntanami?" He asked.
"I'm okay" She answered.
"Ngyazi ukuthi uthuk'thele futhi ugcwele ulaka kodwa ngzok'qondisa lokho sisi" He said.
"Baba Kade,Kade! It has been ages usho the same thing,mina personally 'm tired,ngikhathele." Lwandle said.
Her emotions were abit mixed but regardless she still loved her father.
"Ngyakuzwa futhi ngyakwazi lokho. Ngyak'khumbula ngan'yami ,saxabana kambi sinomawakho ngalenkathi uzomnika ezakhe uRuth" He smiled.
Lwandle chuckled.
"Kodwa ngizok'lungisa konke, ngyaxolisa mntanami. Ung'xolele ngokuba bengazi kodwa ngakhetha ukuvaleka amehlo." He said
"What you did hurt me,wena noMah made me umuntu omubi to almost everyone. Especially emakhaya." Lwandle wipes her tears.
"Ngyaxolisa m'tanami. Uk'thula kwami kwadala umonakalo omubi,ang'zange ngik'nake ngalendlela." Bab'Zwide said.
"It's okay baba. Ngyak'xolela kodwa angeke ngize ngikwazi ukuxolela uMah. Inhliziyo ayivumi nhlobo" She said.
She takes a tissue and gently pressed her eye to avoid tears coming out. Bab'Zwide stands up to comfort her daughter and lets her lean on him.
"Uma kungavumi sthandwa sami,ungaz'xaki yezwa?" He said.
She just kept being on paused and silent but gently nods and wakes her head up. Her father wipes her tears and kisses her forehead. He scans around and sees his picture with Mfundo and Lwandle,just the three of them not Sphokazi which is uMaZwide in the picture.
"Ngim'khiphile ez'thombeni zami. Ukum'buka, makes it worse,ng'vele nginyanye" Lwandle said.
"Phela ungagagameli sisi,m'yeke manje." Bab'Zwide said.
"uRuth benoAndiswa badla imali yakho baba and lez'ngane ezondliwayo ak'zona ezaMfundo." Lwandle said
"K'mele ilungiswe leyo ukuze singaxabani." Bab'Zwide said.
"Ngempela ngoba mina ngyolala ejele ngik'tshele baba" She said.
"Manje wena neJele?unodoli kanje?" He laughs
"Ewe baba,ngzohlala khona" She smiled.
"Kodwa wena uthambile sisi,ngeke ulunge" He continued to laugh.
"Sizobona. Baba?" She calls
"Ya?" He answered.
"Remember you said I must tell you if seng'funa ukujola?or was it a joke?" Lwandle asked.
"Ewe k'mele usho ukuze simazi ukuthi ubani vele." He said.
"So is it okay if I invite you both here?ngzobiza noMfundo" Lwandle asked.
"Alright. Nini?" Bab'Zwide asked.
"The next Saturday is fine. uMfundo uyamazi yena kodwa" lwandle said.
She stands up to make some light meal for herself and father and have more chats together.
Mfundo went as far as going outside to meet up with Kevin and welcoming him inside his office. Sbusiso was by his office as well but heard their loud laughter.
