He walks in with a bouquet of red roses, Mandisa was having a conversation with the nurse. She takes on good look at Mfundo and starts to get uncomfortable.
Mandisa's face was badly bruised up with scratches and some red or pink patches.
The nurse noticed Mfundo walking behind. She turned around and smiled at him, simply because he is good looking and famous, not too much paparazzi famous.
"San'bona" He greets with a smile.
Mandisa just couldn't look at him and felt a sense of fear crawling.
"Unjani bhut'wami?" The nurse responds.
"Ngyaphila, ngingezwa k'nina" He said.
"Ay noko, uk'gcenga nje. AmaVisiting hours akakofiki bhut'wami" She said.
"Oh ay...bengithi ng'cela ukukhuluma naye nje, ngikhathazeke kakhulu" He smiled.
"Awwww...okay, ithi ngin'shiye anyways my deepest condolences bhut'wami ngok'shonelwa ingane. Yabona ingane, is'busiso esiphjma ku nkulunkulu and labantu abenze lokhu,bazojeza." She tucks in Mandisa tightly.
Mandisa mind completely goes blank and starts to Starr at Mfundo.
"Nurse! Beng'cela ukungisize ngonyawo lami, yazi bengithi ngyazama ukulinyakazisa kodwa ke kwasho ukuthi lib'hlungu" Mandisa takes a light stare at Mfundo and he couldn't his eyes of her.
"Hawu mbem, uthena singak'sizi nje." The nurse replied,rolls her eyes.
"Beng'cela usiphe um'zuz'wana sisi" Mfundo said.
The nurse leaves and closes the door. Mfundo puts the flowers on top and smiles. Mandisa also tried to smile back.
"Ubumithi?" He grabs a chair and seats next to her with more anger of not telling him about the pregnancy.
"I broke a rib." She said and looked front.
"Phendula um'buzo, ubumithi na?" He asked,abit loud.
She stayed silent and that made him pace up and down.
"Uma ungafuni ng'yolala ejele namuhla, chaza.." He commanded with a calm voice.
Mandisa looked like she wanted to cry,wiping her entire face
He takes the flowers and puts them into the bin neatly and comes back to her.
"Bufuna ngik'tshele ukuthi ng'mithi?!ngathi ushadile?" Mandisa asked.
"Phuma lapho! Wena usuyathula nesisu manje?Mandisa! (Calms himself down)" he said.
"Angani ngiSide chick?so why would I bring izinkinga em'shadweni wakho?you seemed very happy with her." Mandisa shouts.
"Usung'phakamisela izwi?usuyathetha?" He asked.
"Mfundo..."She collected herself and called him.
"Isaphila ingane?" He asked.
"C..ch...cha" Mandisa stuttered.
"Ubulele igaz'lami Mandisa!! Bengizoba ubaba futho kodwa wena wang'phuca lelothuba!" He screamed.
"Ngizok'tshelaa kanjani umamatheka noCelisiwe?! Nijabule angithi?ubungenas'khathi sami angithi!" Mandisa shouts.
"uCelisiwe umithi, umithi unkos'kazi wami." Mfundo slammed the words at her face and leaves.
Mandisa scars were painful but, the words that Mfundo uttered hurt more. He didn't show respect,he just walked away.
Instead of feeling sorry,she tries to stand up. The window was open and high. She didn't have any tears but instead thought about jumping out. Securities and everyone else was outside,living their normal lives.
When she peaked outside, she immediately felt dizzy but also tried to stand closer. It was 10:20am, Mandisa was still undecided.
Her phone rang, it was Osiphuthando. It rang a thousand times but no answer. Lethu called shortly after Osi. On the 5th floor it was, fortunately enough the Nurse walked in and rushed to stop Mandisa who was an inch of jumping out of the window. The people started screaming and the securities ordered for her to be stopped.
"Mandisa!!! Sizani!!" The nurse rushed to her and tries to help her get off.
The nurses rush to help Mandisa up and fussed because she wanted to jump but the nurse dragged her gently inside. Everyone from outside was relieved that she was atleast safe.
"NGIYEKENI!!!!"Mandisa screamed,pushing them aside.
"Annie, please mix up the Midazolam injection now!" Doctor Stayn and the rest of the nurses hold Mandisa.
She rather opted to scream and shout, Annie rushes with the injection and passes it to the doctor and then the doctor hold still to insect the needle without scratching or hurting her.
Finally she calmed down a little and some nurses let go.
"It's okay. She won't do anything now, Nqoko get atleast one security guard to stand outside and check up on her from time to time." Doctor Stayn said.
Everyone went back to their usual jobs. Midday, Philani comes in with some clothes,toiletries and some food for Mandisa. She finds her asleep.
He smiled and places everything aside. He grabs a chair and places his coat to the other chair.
The doctor comes in with her file and a nurse to take her usual temperature.
"Hello" The doctor greets with a smile.
"Hi" He moves aside to give them space.
"Oh no, it's okay. You can sit down, we'll just use this space." She said.
