"Bheki!" She shouts and stands aside him.
He just continued quietly.
"Uzong'ziba uze uyeke ngik'tshele ngoba lodoti wePrenup?yin'le?" She tossed the paper and fell on the ground.
"Ngisacela uk'thula." He said
"Chazela mina lendaba yePrenup ke! Ngidinga ukwazi Bheki, ngizazi ukuthi ng'mephi." She said.
The two get inside the house and go by their bedroom where they will be unheard by the housemaids.
"Khuluma phela" She said.
"isizathu sokwenza iPrenup ingoba wena Sphokazi uhlukumeze uLwandle. Isono sami uk'thula ngoba ngisaba ukuthi uzong'shiya." He said,calm as ever.
"Unes'bindi sokung'tshela lokho. Ingane yakho ik'hlaza ibhadi, ngeke uze ung'tshele okunye. Nanokuthi ingane ekaXoli!" She screamed.
"Enza ok'bonayo kodwa lama phepha ngiwadinga ngolwes'hlanu." He said and left.
She kept thinking of a better plan to win her husband. Meanwhile, Mandisa sat by herself in class. She stared into one space for too long with a little bruise from her hand. And that's when Osi came in.
It was break time by the way. Mandisa stood up uncomfortably to try and hug Osi but Osi noticed earlier.
"That hug was cold mngani. What's wrong?" She smiled.
Mandisa offered her a seat.
"Nothing or maybe it's just a flu." She said.
"But it's spring or summer,how are you having Flu?plus seasons changed a long time ago." She cracked a smirk.
"I'm telling you that I might have a cold and wena you're just making fun of me?" She snapped.
"Hawu Mandisa,I'm just joking. " She felt disappointed.
"Mmmmm" She wipes her eyes.
Osi notices Mandisa's bruise from her hand and stares at it while Mandisa paid no attention.
"I'm sorry. Ukuthi kuningi, ang'zazi nje kulamalanga." Mandisa said.
"You know you can talk to me. I never judge." Osi came closer.
"Of course." Mandisa said.
"Plus uLethu told me that you're pregnant. " Osi confessed.
"How could she?! Bengizok'tshela mina not her! " She started fuming.
"Girl relax okay?it's not a big deal right?" Osi asked.
"It is. Bengizok'tshela kahle when I'm good so that we can be happy." Mandisa calms down and drinks water.
"And don't stress the baby." Osi just smiled.
"Ukuthi awazi konke okwenzekalayo k'mina. Everything is going sound and I'm just tired, Osiphuthando ngikhathele!" She takes a tissue and wipes her eyes lightly.
"Mandisa, yazi kuyasiza ukuthi umuntu abhodle and i can say that this is not you. " Osi said.
"I'm fine, baby fever." Mandisa smiled.
"Right. Remember when Sky used to make me a cry baby?everyday! To even think that sometimes I would just get depressed." Osi laughed.
"Well...this one is making me act all crazy" Mandisa smiled.
"Of course and please,don't sweat it okay?I love you." Osi said.
"I love you too. Philani got me some tickets to a music festival. Ang'zange ngibe nes'khathi sokubheka yazi." Mandisa said.
"Oh! When did he give you the tickets?" Osi asked.
"Yeah, Sunday. " Mandisa said.
"uMfundo noPhilani are two different people but when it comes to loving a person, I think benzs ngendlela eyodwa." Osi said.
"I agree but I feel like Mfundo is way more romantic." Mandisa blushed.
"Speaking about being romantic, nangcina nini ukuhamba nje ninoMfundo?like out and about?not to sound noisy but I just wanna know." Osi said.
Her face was straight with no smirk and that made Mandisa a little nervous.
"Soloke washada uMfundo,I always feel like a side chick" Mandisa said.
"Are you one?" Osi asked.
Mandisa just left her with her question with silent and looked at her with teary eyes. She stands up to just hug her.
"Please don't cry." Osi said.
Osi notes Mandisa's hand abit scratched from earlier on and asked.
"And then?isandla sakho?"Osi took it but Mandisa swiped it away from her immediately.
"Ucingo oe, I got scratched yazi." Mandisa brushed it aside.
"Ay..Alright ke mtase. Whatever you need,please do call and l'll teleport okay?" Osi gives her a kiss on the cheek.
Hometime at school hit, Mandisa just tried to run but thought about what will Mfundo do if she did not obey his command.
So she waited with Vusi by the gate and opened the door for her,no greeting just pure silent. Vusi was playing with his father's phone while Mandisa looked so uncomfortable.
"Manje uzothula kuze k'thini?" He asked.
He seemed calm about everything.
"....n..ngiz'khathalele nje" Mandisa answered.
He didn't answer after but drops Vusi at his home. Mandisa thought that maybe, he is taking her to his parents house.
"Baba, please bring something nice for me." Vusi said getting out of the car and closing the door.
"Alright." He watched him get inside the gate and to the house to drive off.
On his way he kept clinching his fists. Their destination was a quiet place around but very sacred. It was so private but also a very nice place with a good scenery.
He parked his car and opened the door,dragging her out by her arm. She was already on the floor.
"Manje awusho, ubani lomfana, Mandisa?" He asked. He kept pacing slowly up and down and looking at her.
Mandisa stood up and faced him with tears on her eyes.
"U..umng..umngan..um...(Clears throat)umngani" Mandisa's voice cracked.
"Ngik'kholwe mina lokho?" He asked.
She kept quiet.
"Yazi ang'thandi uk'shaya kodwa Mandisa uyang'dina. Usuvele waphakama, wang'bukela phansi, ngik'sizile wagcwaba unyoko! Ucishe wafa wena! Wena! Ngik'siza ngoba ngyak'thanda kodwa uyafeba!" He chuckled and gave her a punch on the face, unprepared.
She held her cheek and fried to walk away slowly from Mfundo. He came back again to punch her and throw her on the ground.
"Mfundo!" Mandisa cried aloud and kept backing away
"Ukungenza is'lima!" He shouts.
She stopped at his car where he actually started to kick her on the stomach,she tried to protect her baby but it was no use because his punches turnned into kicks. About an hour, he leaves her there and drives back home to Celisiwe and Vusi.
All bruised up and couldn't walk properly, she calls one of the ubers to pick her up. 15 minutes after, the uber driver helps Mandisa get inside the house with her bag to sit on the sofa.
Her Tuesday did not go as planned, after the uber, Lethu trolls in with a smile until she opened the door,finding Mandisa hurt and all blood boiled up.
She drops everything and calls the ambulance for help before going to her.
"Mandisa!!! Kwenzekeni?ubani ok'shaye kanje?" Lethu panicked.
She kept asking Mandisa all these questions, the ambulance arrived and took her to the nearest hospital. She calls Osi to come check up on her.
