"Mfundo" She called him.
"Sthandwa sami" He smiled.
"Ufunani la?" She asked with her shaking voice.
He smiled and looked pitiful.
"Unjani?" He asked.
"Ng...ngrigh...ngright" Mandisa said.
"Ngyaxolisa sthandwa sami" Mfundo said.
He came closer and gives her a hug. Mandisa just let her guard down and let him inside her heart once again. It was like apologizing fixed everything.
"Othi ng'bo." He said lifting her head.
"Ung'limazile Mfundo." Mandisa said and shifts to seat on the bed.
"I know and ngyaxolisa. Ukuthi ng'suke ngasacuka ngalenkathi lomfana eng'shaya." Mfundo explained and kisses her forehead.
"Well...I need you to apologize to him." Mandisa said.
"Alright. Uyang'xolela?" He smiled.
"Ngyak'xolela kodwa uma uzongaphinde ung'shaye." She smiled as well.
"Manje ubusatshelile ukuthi...." He didn't continue.
"Cha. Abazi lutho." Mandisa said.
"Vele uthi ubanjwe amaphara, abezama ukuk'phuca iskhwama kodwa walwa." Mfundo suggested.
"Njengoba ngimabokoboko?" Mandisa asked.
"Phela uzothi bak'shayile and awusakhumbuli kahle." Mfundo said.
"Kuzosebenza?" Mandisa asked.
"Themba mina." Mfundo smiled.
"Ubuqin'sile ngalenkathi uthi uCelisiwe umithi?" Mandisa asked
"Umithi. Bengingazi ukuthi ngzok'tshela kanjani sthandwa sami kodwa ngicela ungapheli moya ngathi." He begged and faces her.
She nodded and got inside the covers. He sees what Philani bought for her and started to get passed off again.
"Manje ubani lo ok'thengele lokhu?" He looks at her eyes.
"uLethu. Ubefike noOsi " Mandisa answered.
"Mandisa, amanga angiwathandi nawe uyazi so kuyosiza ngempela ungitshele nje." Mfundo said.
Lethu sat there for hours until her mother was stable again. The doctors and nurses tried so hard to keep her alive and yes she was.
He comes out with a smile.
"It's okay,your mother is stable but we need to run more results." The doctor said.
"Oh smakade! Jehova! oh my dear lord! Thank you." Lethu smiled and couldn't contain herself.
"Would you like to see her?" The doctor asked.
"Yes please, is she awake?" Lethu asked.
"Half awake, you can go talk to her. " the doctor said.
The two walk inside her ward,Lethu just went to the otherside and touched her hand again. It was 20:11pm, She was the happiest.
"Mah!" Lethu smiled.
"l'll leave it to you. If you need anything, please do see my office" The doctor said.
"Thanks." Lethu said.
A day later, Before Saturday. Mandisa has already sent an email to the school principal about her situation, atleast she's back home now. Lethu was already at work, given time to take her mind off things and Mandisa to also get a chance to be alone.
