Y/N stood in the driveway, taking in the sight of their new home in Woodsboro. The house, a charming two-story with a wraparound porch, was nestled among towering pine trees. Y/N’s mom, Ava, was already bustling around, directing the movers with a mix of excitement and anxiety. Her dad, Josh, was busy unloading boxes from the car, while Heather and James, Y/N's younger sister and brother, were exploring the front yard.

"Y/N, can you help your dad with the boxes?" Ava called, her voice slightly muffled by the sounds of the moving truck.

"Sure, Mom," Y/N replied, heading over to the car. She grabbed a box labeled "Kitchen" and followed Josh inside.

The interior of the house was just as welcoming as the outside. Sunlight streamed through the large windows, casting a warm glow on the wooden floors. The living room was spacious, with a stone fireplace that promised cozy evenings during the colder months. Y/N could already imagine family movie nights there.

As she set the box down on the kitchen counter, Heather burst in, her eyes wide with excitement. "Y/N, you have to see the backyard! There's a swing and everything!"

"Really? That's awesome," Y/N said, smiling at her sister's enthusiasm.

"James is already on it, of course," Heather added with a roll of her eyes, but her smile showed she didn't really mind.

"Well, let's get these boxes inside first, then we can all check it out," Y/N said, ruffling Heather's hair. They both headed back outside, where Josh was still unloading.

By late afternoon, most of the boxes were inside, and the family took a break on the porch. Ava brought out lemonade, and they all sat together, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

"This place is really something, isn't it?" Josh said, looking around.

"It is," Ava agreed. "I think we’re going to be very happy here."

Heather and James were already talking about the new friends they would make and the adventures they would have in the woods behind the house. Y/N listened, feeling a sense of contentment. Moving had been a big change, but as she looked at her family, she knew they were all in it together. Woodsboro was a fresh start, and Y/N felt ready to make the most of it.
