Hongjoong's POV:

" Wassup kev__" I spoke mirthfully, grinning at my best friend over the phone, placed in my car's phone holder.

" Aye bro when are you coming back? We miss u bruh." He said, making me laugh shaking my head at his fatuity and the deep british accent he was using to speak.

"Damn kev, no wassup or hello?" I said, pretending to frown just so that I can see his sickening and funny reaction.

" Wassup hayes." He spoke dryly, rolling his eyes. Calling me out on my English name with a poker face.

" You're not funny at all." I remarked, as I straightened my phone back to how it was before my car tires stepped on a pothole that made it shift a little.

I miss my baby.

" Seriously Hayes when are you coming back?! The whole place is boring without you and that party spirit of yours."

😳😳 I don't know what he's talking about....

" Who knows?" I shrugged. I didn't want to give any certain or false answer even though I want to......I can't because going back to America means abandoning Felix which I'd never think of doing. I would never trade my baby for anything.

Kevin jeered, " that's not an answer hongjoong."

And I started laughing uncontrollably as if he said anything funny. It's just the way my name came out of his mouth sounded funny and stupid.

I glanced at the camera slightly to see an emotionless expression plastered on his tan face. Immediately I quit laughing when I realized he only used my korean name when he's very serious. And I'm sure he knew I was laughing at him.... which he very much hated for the record.

" Shit Kevin my bad, but I don't know." I muttered. " I guess you'll see me when u see me." I shrugged tapping on the steering wheel of my BMW.

" Hmph 😤 ok." And he hanged up.

Which I was grateful for tbh.... because I find it hard to concentrate well on the road while talking at the same time.

Guess that's why there's a rule that says," no phone - talking while driving."

*Phone bloops*

What is that again?

I opened my phone to see a message on the screen sent by my chief butler, informing me that my mum had just left my house not too long ago.

Thank goodness.

I rejoiced mentally, so it means I could go back to my sweet and cozy home.... and lay on my comfy bed without any perturbation or discomfort.
