All I felt was a rage in my heart that was broken continuously while he was suffering between life and death.
All I could do was sit there and watch him withstand that unendurable pain he was going through, the way he was losing his breath, those unstable heart lines in the monitor and his rapidly paling body was something that I was unimaginable for me to endure yet I had to stay by his side and fight by his side so he knows that he have to be with me nevertheless the situation as I will be with him as long as I am breathing.

I jerked up to see Aarna peering down at me warmly with a coffee cup in her hand and then I felt a pull at my hand which was being held in a familiar grasp.

It was him, he was awake and staring at me fondly.
"Zane".
My eyes immediately broke into tears, my voice was shaking as I lean down to kiss his whole face happily and then lightly cupped his cheek while his eyes just greeted me warmly, there was something unique in them but I didn't know what but my heart was feeling serene and calmed, it was like I could finally live in this world as the past day has been the most impossible time of my life as all I could do was sit here like a statue and watch him suffering.
I felt useless for so many reasons but at the same time I knew he won't leave me again because he promised me that I will be his future and he will be mine.
He wasn't saying anything but his eyes were speaking to me, they were telling me that he is fine and I shouldn't be worried but my heart was still at unrest as I have to find the culprit, and it shouldn't be delayed yet I can't just leave him alone.
"Simmi, the doc said he can't speak for a few days but he is fine and will be discharged within two days".
I was relieved but this agonizing pain in my chest kept rising in order to push me to take action because if I delay anymore further then their next target might be Ruza and I won't let this happen again.
