"Logan can you bring out some more banana pudding the kids keep eating it up"

"Already that was the second one" I raised a brow while taking a heavily wrapped bowl out of the fridge. "Yeah it's auntie mertle she keeps blaming the kids" Camila said from over her shoulder with a roll of her eyes.

"I don't understand why she keeps eating this. it's gonna make her blood pressure flare up"

"That lady has a death wish. didn't Malik tell you that she was hospitalized last month for eating two sittings of apple pie. That lady's gonna be the death of herself"

I only shook my head in reply "I'll take care of it but you." I placed a kiss on her cheek. "try not to work too hard. I can finish cooking the rest if you want."

"And nearly burn the kitchen down ha! No thank you" Camila dry laughed, turning back to the stove. I grabbed the bowl of banana pudding in one hand and a spare hotdog off the platter before heading outside. Just as I said, there was a handful of people that showed. Most of them being some of Camilla's friends and the rest being kids and family from Malik's side of the family. My side of the family was across the states so we rarely spent holidays together. Most of Camilla's friends talk amongst each other while looking after the kids. Mainly the boys who ruff housed around the yard and chased loki around. While the husbands on the other hand gathered around the grill with Malik and drunk beer while discussing whatever drunk dad's talk about.

Upon spotting me Loki darted across the yard barking loudly. He nearly threw his body at my legs rocking me on my toes as I let out a breathy laugh. "Hey buddy are you having fun huh? Are you" I cooed viciously rubbing my hands through his golden mane. The times patience did come over I kept him here to keep him from freaking her out and Camilla didn't mind since the kids loved him.

" I have something for you buddy. did you want this huh? " I allowed him to get a few whiffs of the hotdog before he went berserk drooling and fumbling to get a hold of the treat. Finally after teasing him I threw it up for him to catch and run off with.

I made my way past the boys tumbling on the yard and to the dessert table. I placed the Batch of pudding down on the table earning the attention of aunt mertle. Her thinning head jerked up at the sound and the wrinkles around her face pushed back as excitement lit up her once desolate face. "ugh finally now I can finally get some" she rubbed her hands together and pushed herself to the edge of her chair.

"Wait a minute aunt mertle you can't sit here and eat up the pudding other people have to get some" I scolded.

"But it's not me it's those pesky kids I tell ya" She shrieked shouldering a look of anger and shock at my words.

"You mean those kids over there playing football" I pointed at Alex and the rest of the boys tackling and throwing around the ball.

"Yes those little theifs are the reason why I can barely get any for your uncle Charles" she spat pointing at the barely consciousness old man with his skin so pale that it look like it could fall of him at any moment. I sighed aloud knowing I wasn't getting anywhere with this.

"Alright just leave enough for me at least" I pleaded in which she waved off already digging into the dessert. I looked at her and sighed. I couldn't really be mad at the olding woman her memory wasn't the best and continued to get worst overtime. My attention was taken by a light continues tug on my pants. I looked down and found myself surrounded by 5 little girls. including molly as they all giggled amongst each other. Molly stood forward and was the first to speak "Uncle Logan my friend Annabelle said she wanted to marry you" she pointed to the blond headed young girl. once she saw me turn to her she hid behind her friend. This got an array of giggles from the little girls making the girls face turn red and bury her face deeper into her friend's shoulder.
