"Maddy leaving isn't going to change my mi-" Ashtray rambled, ignorant to what Felicity had to say.

Felicity put her hand out, stopping him mid-sentence, she replaced her look of anger with a gentle smile. Taking a step closer to him, Fee sat down holding her passionate glance. "Ash, I don't want anything I, I just wanted to speak to you. You know I am sorry for what I did, I should of listened to you from the start, I just don't want to feel to locked up. I should still be able to have fun, with my friends." She spoke softly, picking at her acrylics due to her nerves.

Ash listened to her, easing his posture, every word making him feel soft. It took him a minute to arrange his words and response. In his head, he knew he could make the situation worse or better. "I told you not to go, and you went. I didn't tell you not to go because I don't want you leaving your house and shit. See, you know what happened? With the drugs and alcohol," Fee gave a cautious nod in response, not wanting to speak much of the blurred memory. "Yeah, that shit happens every out of town party to girls like you, that's why I said don't go. Truthfully, I didn't want anything bad to happen you." He kept his tone tough, disregarding his weaknesses.

Fee's face dropped into a pity of sadness, unable to speak. She had hurt herself, she felt awful. H was only looking out for her, caring for her.

Ash realised her reaction immediately, running his tongue along his teeth. Yet he ignored her look of sadness, didn't chose to comfort her or tell her it was fine. "What else happened? Did you know the people who gave you everything?" Fee instantly burst into tears at the memory, the message. Ash quickly stood up, going over to the hopeless girl, placing her into his arms. Fee grabbed her phone out her back pocket, unlocking it, single teardrops falling on the screen. She passed Ash the phone, revealing the text she received from the unknown number. "Do you know who this is?" Ashtray's demeanor changed within a matter of seconds, he was enraged with a heavy look of concern.

Fee gave a lazy shrug, nesting her face into his neck. His scent relaxing her immediately, her muffled sobs filling the room. "It's okay, it's okay we will sort this, me and Fez." Ash reassured her, pulling her head back, forcing eye contact with Felicity.

After only reading the letter a second time, he knew instantly who it was. J. Jason, he always waned Felicity, not that other boys didn't. Other boys just fantasized about her from time to time, shot looks her way as she walked past and gave insufferable attempts of talking to her, whereas Jason took it a few levels higher, stalking her, giving her drugs to make her easy to touch and sending people to give her money. Disgusting, Ashtray's face knotted at the thought of it. Maddy had left when she found out what happened, leaving Fee with Ash, as she knew that's what she needed, not Maddy, not Kat, but him. Fee hadn't told Maddy about the text, but thinking back she would have.

Ash told Fez, his reaction wasn't pleasant

Fee was now laid peacefully on Ashtray in his room, meanwhile Fez. He fiddled through her hair, keeping an eye on her phone. "Ash please just leave it." She let out a groan, tilting her head up to face him.

"No Felicity, I left it once, I am not leaving it a second time." He pierced, sharply. Fee gave no response, but instead faced back down. "I wish I could of been there, and I really am sorry I wasn't" He spoke softly, leaving a delicate kiss on her cheek.

Felicity gave him a warm smile, leaving his grasp. "Come on, let's go out I am bored." Fee pulled at his wrist.

Ash rolled his eyes playfully, giving in. "Come on then."

Their fingers interlocked, Fee led the way, taking him a familiar route. Occasionally, she would plant a kiss on his cheek, she had never felt this way towards another before. It was a whole new feeling. The nights were getting cooler not, still warm enough to leave a shade of pink on your shoulders. School started soon, meaning she wouldn't be able to spend everyday with Ashtray as they had planned. But in order to do well, Fee had to prioritize school in certain occasions, she couldn't constantly be distracted. Whereas last term she couldn't help but think of the boy, but knowing she had him all to herself eased her thoughts ever so slightly.

"School soon" Fee mumbled miserably, swaying her hands high in the air.

"Hm, yeah I still pick you up though, if I am not busy." Ash suggested, swaying his arms in sync with her.

"Mhmmmm." Fee held out her M, heading towards the trees.

Ash came to quick realisation of his surroundings, following the same path he had once followed, seeing the wooden, run down sign saying 'sunset lake'. Ash smiled at his girlfriends thought process, Fee going warm at his reaction. "I knew you would like it here" She giggled.

The lake was still, the suns last beams reflecting down on it, as it lowered from the sky, painting the water colours of yellow and orange. "Ash?" Fee grabbed his hand,

"Ye?" He faced down on her, Fee completely zoned out. "Yes?"  He repeated, louder.

"You know, I love you." The words slowly left her lips, leaving her anxious, she felt as if she can sink into the floor.

Ash leant in, placing a long passionate kiss on her lips, keep a hold of her waist. Fee felt her stomach do backflips, no matter how long they were together, he would always make her feel a certain way. "I love you too" He disconnected their lips, his face close to hers, before reconnecting them.

This was really real, she really loved him and really loved her too. Only if this moment could last forever.

Fee laid in his lap, watching the sunset go down, just like they did the first time they kissed. "I never asked you properly?" Ash coughed out, drawing patterns on her arm.

"Hm?" Fee hummed happily.

This took Ash courage, he had never been soft for another, not even his brother. This was new to him as much as it was to her. Fee felt him take a deep breath, knowing what he was about to say. "Will you be my girlfriend?" Ash went extremely red, playing it of by clearing his throat.

"Of course I will be."

AUTHORS NOTES

Aww wholesome.

Anyways, I am SO sorry. I have been camping for like 5 days, it was great it was like connecting with nature and going on long walks, boat rides. I loved it, we were in the lake district so lots of great scenery. I promise to update daily from now, next chapter is dramaaaa.

Also, to any of my reading struggling with mental health, this weekend has shown me how much being outside in a nice place can help improve you mentally so much, long walks on hills and fields, by lakes. I know it may not sound great, and it is for sure hard but I promise it's amazing. It helped me, so thought I would share. Everyone is different though.
