overtime- ashtray

felicity woke up yet unaware of her surrounds until she sat up and saw ash tray staring at her.
"problem?" she said rubbing her eyes

"yeah, i want to sit there and your there." he said glaring at her.

"or is it that you love watching me sleep"

"you wish"

"i don't need to wish" fee said

he sarcastically smiled and pushed her legs out the way.
felicity started looking around for her phone.

"where the fucks my phone" she said under her breath to which ashtray pulled it out his pocket and chucked it to her.

"why did you have my phone" she said catching it

"you left it on the table downstairs"

"oh thanks"

ash and fezcos house was quite comfy and also extremely comforting it was small and quite messy but that's what felicity liked about it.
maddy still hadn't text felicity back however it was early.

"i think something is wrong with maddy, ever since she went to somewhere with nate she's been wierd"

"when did i ask" he said scrunching his face

"you didn't , i just told you" she replied snarkily

ashtray folded his face and looked away.

"morning kid" fezco walked in

"morning fez"

"mornin bro"

"thanks for letting me stay the night" felicity said looking at fez then ashtray.

"no problem kid"
ashtray just shook his head.

MADDY
-maddy are you okay??

no reply, however maddy most likely wasn't awake it was still quite early . felicity grabbed her shoes crushing the back when she put them on. it was cold outside it was november morning, the roads were icy, the sky was dull and every breath someone take you can see there breath.

"fez, i'm going thanks for letting me stay the night"

"hold on fee we're going down to store , might aswell walk that bit with us" he said standing up which ash coppied.

"fuck it's freezing" felicity said only wearing the outfit she wore last night, matching to maddy's which was a crop top and flared bottoms.
ash took his jumper with his same old annoyed facial expression. felicity got all red , a boy had never given her their jumper before and would she ever think it would be ashtray?

"thanks" she said smiling

"don't be all smiling n shit i want it back tomorrow" he said chucking it over to her.

from that, felicity made her way home except she didn't go home she went to maddy's. it was a further walk but she was worried about her, something was up last night with maddy, but she couldn't work out what.

"maddy!" miss perez shouted from the door

"what?" maddy replied

"felicity" she said nodding her head for fee to go in.

"maddy? are you okay?" felicity said slowly opening the door.

"yeah i'm fine" maddy was quick to answer and rubbed her eyes.

"oh maddy" felicity said walking over to her

"i'm fucking fine, okay" maddy said

felicity stared at her until leaning into hug her.

"ow" maddie groaned

"what?"

"nothing, nothing"

"no maddy what is it? felicity said before quickly looking down at her neck. "of fuck maddy, why didn't you tell me?"

felicity knew it was nate. he was always a fucking cunt, not just to maddy but to everyone. he couldn't help himself in being a fucking stuck up male bitch.
maddy didn't make eye contact with felicity but instead just dug her face into her pillow. felicity didn't want to make to much out of the situation so she didn't say anything more. she felt bad for maddy, her nate had been so back and forth he never treated her right compared to how she should of been treated. they constantly would argue back and forth over stupid things that nate would just make situations worse with. no matter how much nate would do this to maddy though, she would never leave him and never change her opinions on him.
"maddy" it had now been 5 minutes of complete silence. felicity put her hands in ash trays hoodie pockets forgetting it was her. her hands touched something , pulling it out it was a bag of weed followed with a lighter and rolling paper. a grin spread across her face.
"cmon maddy i know something that will make you feel better"

maddy turned around unwillingly before sighing and getting up to her bedroom door and grabbing a jacket.
"i knew it"

RUES POV

i felt bad for pulling gia away yesterday but i don't want her going down the same path i'm going down. i know it's only weed and she was probably just having fun but it worries me seeing her doing any type of drugs. you only need to do it once to get addicted, okay maybe i sound like a mom and i also know that's not very true when it comes to weed but still i'm just worried about gia. also she was hanging around with the wrong people, people i would never want gia to hang around with. the wrong people lead you to doing the wrong things.
the thought of having to stand up right now and exert 172 muscles each step for 35 feet just so i can still on cold porcelain and piss out toxins over and over again for the rest of my life makes the hole concept of living feel like one long sadistic joke. but the absoloute worst part of depression is that even know you know your depressed you're unable to stop yourself from getting worse.
END OF RUES POV

maddy lit the blunt.
"fuck i needed this"
felicity dug her head into maddy's shoulder before sitting up to a notification from her phone.

UNKNOWN NUMBER

-don't use my lighter , or smoke that weed. i mean it felicity.

"oh shit"  felicity said showing her phone to maddy.

maddy squinted her eyes.
"whose that?"

"ashtray" fee said

"what's he talking about" maddy said exhaling the smoke out her mouth.

"well this is his weed and his lighter"  felicity said

"why did you have it?" maddy said

"it was in his hoodie pockets" she said looking down at the hoodie.

"why do you have his hoodie"

"i was cold this morning, i didn't even ask i slept at fezcos and i said i was cold and he just gave it to me" felicity said shrugging her shoulders.

"i have so many questions but i'm not gonna bother" maddie said

"neither"
