The sound of water, overwhelming, jostles my dreams.

Dawn becomes intrusive at the edge of the curtains, and soon the rest of my senses awaken, much to my dismay.

I'm not sure I can get used to this lifestyle. I feel as if my eyes are melting just by discerning the light shining into the room. How do they expect me to sleep like this?

Letting out a groan worthy of a creature of the night, I grab the first pillow I find and, surprised by how easily I catch it, pat the spot from which I just snatched it. The place is still warm, but Law is gone.

With blurred vision and burning eyes, I tear myself away from the sheets, deciding to put on the first clothes that cross my path. Then, I step out of the dwelling, finding myself hating all the sounds assaulting me, including the murmurs of the daytime inhabitants on the other side of the wall. Clearly, the lack of sleep doesn't suit me.
