LEIA O'CONNOR

LEIA DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. In honesty, as much as she hated it, she was a go-with-the-flow kind of person, just because it was hard to predict what could happen in a world where the gods were real. Things can happen in the blink of an eye, as delicate as the soft flutter of a butterfly's wing. Life in a world where life was woven by the delicate hands of the fates was a tricky life to really live. Their nimble tips could string the worst feats, the best falls, the most tragic tapestries to adorn your thread.

Life was simply not your own, not with the treads attached to your very being.

Hence, Leia lived in the moment, which les them to a rather rundown water park.

"If Ares brings his girlfriend here for a date, I'd hate to see what she looks like." Right in front of them was a run down water park, at least Annabeth had said that. Leia clutched her bag just a bit tighter, holding back the urge to gulp at the sight of the rustic scenery.

It definitely did not seem like the place Ares would bring the goddess of love herself, so Percy sort of did have a point. In fact, this place looked as though monsters would nestle in it, hiding away and waiting for some unsuspecting demigods to stumble in. Leia pursed her lips, breathing in, then out, closing her eyes and then opening them.

Annabeth's attention darted towards Percy in an instant once that remark left his naive lips. Leia could have smacked him, simply because what he said was so stupid. The Goddess he was insulting wasn't very forgiving, so he better pray she was in a semi-okay mood.

"Percy," Annabeth warned sharply and Leia was glad she spoke up. "Be more respectful."

"Why? I thought you hated Ares."

"You shouldn't insult the gods though, Perce." Leia mused, smiling ever so slightly at just how oblivious he was to all of this. After all, it's Ancient Greek gossip about Ares and Aphrodite. Basically every nymph, demigod, and mortal knew about this gossip. "You never wanna be on their bad side, especially not these two."
