JOGGING IS SUPPOSED TO SOOTHE THEM. Ease them from all their woes as they trek through the wooded parts of Seattle with their favoured music in their ears and the breeze dancing across their skin in their fast-paced movements. That's what Daphne had expected when Cristina and Meredith had pulled her out of bed at an outrageous time of the morning, tore out the age-old gym clothes in her wardrobe and forced her to get dressed and go jogging with them. Daphne had been optimistic — more fool her.
Because, now, she can hardly breathe. The only running she does is when she's shooting through the halls of Seattle Grace Hospital to reach a patient who's teetering close to death, or back in college when her and her group of misfit friends were escaping from campus security. With her chest heaving and panting slightly, Daphne attempts to catch up with Meredith and Cristina.
"You're a stupid, evil sadist and I wanna kill you!" Cristina curses Meredith, who's idea it was in the first place go jogging.
"Endorphins are good!" Meredith encourages. "Endorphins are mood elevators!"
"I don't give a damn about endorphins!" Daphne snaps.
"It's supposed to make us feel better," Meredith says lightly.
