"He stares at you every time you look away."

"Eros?" I walked through the corridors of our house, looking for my husband so we could have lunch together.
We had returned from our honeymoon a week ago, but that didn't mean we had stopped behaving like completely lovesick fools around each other. In fact, it had gotten worse, especially since I was also pregnant and Eros had been more than over protective.
"Eros?" I called again before opening his office door and sighing heavily as a small smile tugged at my lips.
Slowly, I walked towards his sleeping form on his chair, his head on the desk and soft snores coming from him as I ran my fingers through his hair.
My eyes fell on the open laptop in front of him, surprised to see the website of the college I had wanted to apply to open with information about how to get in. Beside the laptop were a few pages filled with neat cursive handwriting with all the information I would need to apply.
I felt my heart warm at the thought of him looking out for me as I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed his forehead when he grumbled something incoherent, making me giggle.
"Eros, lunch is ready." I whispered softly when he hummed, taking my hand on his head and intertwining our fingers as his eyes fluttered open slowly.
"What time is it?" He asked groggily, his sleepy voice making me oddly fluttery inside as I bit my lip and his eyes darkened as he glanced at me.
"Darling?" His voice broke me out of my reverie when I stood straighter and blinked a few times, shaking my head as I glanced at the clock.
"It's three in the afternoon, let's have lunch." I said softly when he sat up and sighed heavily, nodding as he blinked a few times before getting up and leading me downstairs to the dining room.
We ate our lunch in a comfortable silence, occasionally talking about something or the other while he kept adding more food to my plate.
"I've applied to the college on your behalf, you just have to write an essay now." He spoke when I looked at him and smiled.
"Thank you, I'll do that." I said gratefully, excited at the prospect of going to my dream college when he cleared his throat.
"I know it's fairly early but I've already arranged a few places for you to choose from to live there. They're all close to the college and many other places and are secure. I've also selected some furniture according to your tastes so you can choose which ever you like best." He started when I frowned.
"But I haven't even gotten in yet." I stated in confusion when he squeezed my hand.
"You'll get in, I know it. They'd be fools not to take you." He stated so confidently that I felt my heart fill with love for this man before another realisation dawned on me.
