Becca's POV

Luke and I decided to lounge around throughout day at his place. Whilst sitting in the wonderful thing that is silence, Luke's phone went off. Once he looked at it, his face bore a small smirk and he bit down on his lip ring.

"Who was that?" I asked lazily, staring at the wall behind him.

"Calum. Says he's found a party going on tonight," Luke replied. "Wanted me to invite you, so, would you like to go?"

I smiled at him.

"Definitely."

He smiled back at me and we lounged around, talking about random things and eating.

~the party~

Michael, Skylar, Calum, and Ashton were the first to greet us at the door. I was wearing my red flannel jacket around my waist, an All Time Low tee shirt, loose dark blue jeans, and my black Converse. Luke was wearing his 'I don't trust me either' shirt with black skinny jeans, a black jean jacket, and black Vans.

"Who's house is this and who's party is this?" I asked Luke as the guys and Skylar led us in to the building filled to the brim with sweaty and dancing teens. Luke shrugged.

"I have no idea," he replied honestly. "But just enjoy yourself!"

And, oh, did I ever. I danced, I screamed lyrics to songs, I not only danced with friends or myself, but with strangers. I even tried the brown sticky stuff in a colored solo cup. I felt like I was on Cloud 9. I felt free and weightless all at once.

Suddenly, this boy around my age started dancing and making his way close to me. He had emo looking hair that was a dark brown like mine. His hair had a Kellin Quinn look to it. He looked pretty handsome though. He wore a Blink-182 tee shirt, loose black jeans, and black shoes.

Once he reached me, he was breathing heavily.

"Hey, gorgeous," he said before taking a swig out of his cup. I caught a whiff of alcohol in his breath.

"Hi," I replied, completely wasted. He wrapped his arm around my waist and leaned in to my ear.

"Wanna dance?" He slurred slightly. I grinned and nodded.

"Definitely."

He and I both were swaying our hips, laughing, and having a good time.

"Oh, I forgot to ask, what's your name?" I asked.

"Levi. Levi Packerman (the name just popped into my head)," he told me in a raspy voice. "What's your name, beautiful?"

"It's Bec-"

"It's none of your business," a voice spat from behind me. I turned to find the source. I was surprised.

Luke Hemmings was standing there, absolutely not looking happy. His magnificently bright blue eyes had turned dark. He was standing taller and broader than before and I realized how broad his shoulders were and his muscles were huge.

"Whoa, take it easy, man!" Levi said, holding up his hands in surrender as he backed away.

Luke just started towards him and grabbed his shirt collar. He put his face threateningly close to Levi's.

"Leave her alone," he hissed in Levi's face.

"O-okay, dude, calm down!" Levi trembled. Luke dropped Levi and let him fall to the floor. When Luke turned around, I was an infuriated drunk.

"Luke! What the-?!"

He ignored me and grabbed my waist. He pulled me outside where the cool night air hit my face. I was still angry. Once he sat me down, he looked me in the eyes.

"Why in Hell would you do that, Luke?! I actually liked him! He was just being nice, you didn't have to barge in and-"

He grabbed my waist again and yanked my body to his. He pushed our lips together and I was caught off guard. I kissed back nonetheless.

"Get some, Luke!" I heard Michael scream drunkenly.

I thought it was gonna be rough, but it was sweet, soft, and a little long. I'm not complaining, though. I'm glad I came to the party. Once Luke let go, he went wide eyed at what he'd done.

He slapped his hand over his mouth and made a surprised sound. Kind of like a high pitched squeal or gasp. I understood why. We were just friends. There had been no flirting and then suddenly, boom! We kissed.

"I-I can't believe I just did that! I'm so so so sorry, Becca!" Luke rambled.

The kiss had no magical powers to make me sober, so I was producing drunken giggles and my legs were wobbly as I attempted to walk over to Luke again after he'd backed away.

"Oh, Luuukkkkeeeeyyyyyy *hic*, I was perfectly *hic* fine with it!" I reached Luke and let my arms rest on his shoulders.

His face softened into a more comfortable one, but then snapped back to a serious one. He tore my arms from his shoulders and I was too tired and lazy to do anything.

"No! I shouldn't gave done that, we can't kiss again, we can't like each other that way!i think it'd be best if we just don't-"

"Shhhhhhhhhhh," I shushed him as I put my hand over his mouth.

He pushed my hand off his mouth and looked me in the eye.

"I need to take you home."
