Michael's POV

I loved being babied. I also loved being independent. But my mum, Skylar, and the guys practically made sure I was in no danger whatsoever and checked to make sure I was in a good mood. Becca could care less, but she does worry if my head starts hurting. Skylar and my mother gave me my medication and the guys kept me in a good mood. My 'get well method' was sit around, stuff my face with food, blast music in my ears, mess with my guitar and write random songs. The guys and I have been dabbling in our instruments and music nowadays. Suddenly, an idea popped into my brain.

I called the guys into a Skype chat and when they answered, I gave them the mind blowing idea.

"Start a band?" Ashton asked.

"I think that sounds rad!" Calum exclaimed. "I'm in!"

"I think it sounds fun! I'm in too!" Luke replied.

"What about you, Ashton?" I asked.

"Uh..." Ashton scratched the back of his neck. He looked unsure. Great... "I-I'm not really sure. I mean, if we're gonna be a band, we'd have so much responsibility! 'Practice is where? How do we get there? What songs do we play? Do we write our own?' Those would be the questions we'd ask. I'm not so sure, Michael. I'll get back to you on that."

With that, Ashton left the call.

"He has a point, you know," Calum muttered. I glared at him through the screen.

"Shut up!" My head started pounding and I rubbed my temples either a pained look on my face.

"Is your head hurting? Do you need your medicine?" Luke asked worriedly.

"I'm fine! Leave me alone, get off my case! Why did I accept your Skype calls?!"

"Uh, Mike? You kinda called us," Calum explained gently.

"Whatever," I replied angrily and I left to take a long nap.

~skip to December 3rd (Michael woke up from his nap already, don't worry)~

It was December and my stitches were falling out and I didn't need much medication anymore. Ashton still hasn't gotten back to us about starting a band. I was starting to rethink the whole idea, knowing Ashton wasn't going to accept. But then the phone rang.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Uh, Michael?" I heard Ashton say.

"What?"

"I've come to the conclusion on your offer to start a band."

"What, really?!" I asked getting excited and worried at the same time.

"Yeah," Ashton answered.

"Well, go on with it!"

"Okay. I've decided to accept this offer."

I let out a tribal yell of glory (I wanna be in the tribe).

"Oh, Ash, that's great! Amazing! I'm so pumped right now! I feel like I can run across the globe! I feel-"

"Now now, calm (C.alum A.shton L.uke M.ichael) down, Michael," Ashton said.

"I'm calm, I'm calm," I assured excitedly.

"When and where's our next practice?"

"Sh--, I don't know. We'll have to talk with the other guys too. Let's just Skype about it."

"1.) Don't swear and 2.) I'm down for Skype."

~Skype call~

"Hey, Ashton, did you finally make a decision?" Calum asked.

"I did. I'm joining the band."

The other guys screamed out yes's. I then heard a woman speaking.

"Luke Robert Hemmings! Keep it down! What are you screaming about anyways?!" Luke face-palmed.

"Mum, I'm just excited!"

"About what?"

"New band member! I'm in a band! Please be quiet, mum, I'm trying to speak with them!"

"Don't you dare tell me to be quiet or not! I'll ground you! Do you understand?"

Luke pouted.

"Yes, mum," he grumbled.

"Alright, I'm headed to the store which I should make you do but last time, you forgot the groceries. Love you!"

"Okay."

"I said I love you!"

"Okay, I heard you!"

"I said love you!" She repeated while the rest of us laughed.

"Fine, I love you too!" Luke replies angrily. He groaned after the door slammed shut. "Oh my God, I hate her sometimes."

"I like her actually. My kind of mum!" I replied to him.

"Oh, leave the poor boy alone and let's discuss band plans," Calum stated.
