(Percy)

'So let me get this right. You personally want to call a council meeting?' Rhea asked blinking repeatedly as she looked at me from her throne in the otherwise empty chamber.

'You don't need to look so surprised, as much as I loathe our little group discussions I have some news to declare.' I replied eager to get away from my grandmother and back to my super hot goddess fiancé who was unattended in my rooms and who last thing I knew was planning on taking a shower.

'Sorry it was just a little surprising, normally we have to drag you here kicking and screaming. That something is important enough for you of all people want to call one has certainly got my attention.' She said sitting up straight and arching her arms before resting her chin upon it and staring at me curiously as if trying to determine what the issue was.

'How do you think she will react to the news. Hi Gran I am sleeping with your grand-daughter! Or does that sound weird? Then again she married her brother so does this count as progress in this family?'

'Shut up why is it every time Artemis disappears you pipe up?'

'....'

'So much for the whole invincible look you are trying to gather, terrified of a girl.' I said mockingly as he growled in frustration.

'Are you listening Perseus?' Rhea asked sternly causing me to snap back to the outside world.

'Sorry got a little distracted. Can you say it again?' I apologized.

'It will have to wait a few hours at least. Iapetus is in the Underworld and as far as I am aware Koios and Phoebe are likewise absent from the palace. Unless the news is important enough for them to be informed later.' She explained as I nodded in agreement. While I could just drag everyone else in here there was little point with Artemis's grandparents being absent. Iapetus I could easily have told later after all.

'While were here ask her about Styx's errand boy.' Perseus reminded.

'I understand that Pallas has left Tartarus.'

'You would have known that already if you attended the last summons.' She said disapprovingly.

'Yeah well something came up.'

'I was never aware that Artemis's hunters could cause such problems that you are permanently indisposed with them.'

More like the goddess herself was the cause of me permanently being busy. If I remember correctly that was in one of Artemis's more aggressive mood swings and she had threatened me into not leaving her.

'They can be a handful at times.' I said simply.

'Sure they are... Back to the point yes Pallas is around the palace somewhere. I am sure he would be interested to meet you.'

'More like kill you. time to go on the offensive first.'

'I have a feeling he will find me at some point. Anyway I will talk to you again at the meeting.' I said simply turning to leave.

'So about that little debacle on Olympus the other day?' She called to me curiously causing me to pause mid step.

'I will tell you at the meeting Grandmother.'

'If that is you again Atlas I will cut your fucking head off.' Artemis screamed from inside as I opened my chamber door and looked around nervously before closing it.

'Hi honey I'm home.' I called out sarcastically as Artemis walked out of the bathroom dressed in a towel. Before my attention was caught by the knife wedged into the wall opposite the door.
