(Percy)

'Three hours and he has already managed to destroy a wonder of the Ancient World and loot the Roman's cultural heritage. Why can't he just act normal?' Diana asked with a shake of her head. Meanwhile I continued to stare at the over sized disembodied marble head that had been deposited in the Senate house, a hole punched clean through its left eye. Next to the equally large hole in the floor he had also created. leading into a chamber below and a further chasm below that, where the truncated body remained, also lacking an arm and a it's lower left leg. From what I could tell the fact he had dragged the head up here was just to show he could.

It had been quite a surprise when Jason turned up on the front door of Reyna's house and explained that there was some sort of commotion in this building. Most of which seemingly involved Lightning bolts and flashes of thunder. Apparently I was the go to guy in case of this sort of event, so much for me trying to stay out of matters of state.

Of course by the time we got here it was over and the culprit was gone. Or rather the source of the thunder and lightning was located but that which kicked the crap out of it was gone. Of course what we found raised a whole lot of question on what it was all doing down there, and how no one remembered stashing a fifty foot high lightning throwing statue and its throne in the basement. Eventually Vitellius was found who seemed to be the only Lares who remembered the old vault but even he was at a loss as to how the statue got there. Although he did prove helpful in identifying what was taken. And neither answer was seen as a good thing.

'It fine I will fix it, so your dad doesn't blow his top. In a month of course.' I told her with a grin. It was my concession to getting them to accept their own punishment of being forced to act human, well like a demigod technically. There were some things we could not change as they were 'passive' abilities. Like me being able to sense others and her glowing in the dark. But as for everything else we would act entirely normal. No flashing around, no throwing knives at people, no killing people for slight insults.

Of course we were now essentially confined to New Rome and the surrounding areas. As the only exception to the policy was in regards to the Moon Chariot which for the time being was going to be piloted by the hunters in a rota. All of whom were more than happy to take the astronomical mass for a spin. With Phoebe and Atlanta being the ones to claim tonight. Something I was not exactly sure was a good thing because the last thing we needed was Atlanta trying to drag race her father in the morning.

'Artemis asked how come we are all being punished and he gets to run around like a jolly jackass?' Diana forwarded for her counterpart.

'Because it is easier than writing a five hundred page rule book of things he can and cannot do. Besides now he has his own sword, he can stop whinging about not being able to use Maelstrom.' I said light-heartedly with relief.

'Oh yes because him only having Escalibur is such a cause of relief. There was a reason that blade was forgotten about for the last eight hundred years, no one could draw the damned thing. If the legend is to be believed Perseus is the next rightful king.' Diana said sarcastically and I had to pause at that implication.

'And he just essentially decapitated your father with it... Maybe we can skip that little detail when we tell him.' I said meekly as thunder rumbled in the East.

'Something tells me he already knows.' Diana whispered nervously.

'What gave it away?' I whispered back sarcastically. 'Still could be worse, at least it was only the statue he killed and not your old man himself. Now come on let's go before someone blames me for wrecking this place again.' I told her reaching an arm around her back and resting it on her hip whilst leading her out the room. Much to the surprise of some of the demigods who were nosing around, many of whom had to have a double take at the sight before hastily stepping out of our way. Sure after earlier most of the city was now aware of the whole Me and Artemis/Diana situation. But I guess it was still a shock to see an 'Maiden' Olympian Goddess and a now known Titan Lord walking amongst them arm in arm as we made our way to our newly acquired house. Then again I had had to convince them I was not going to start hacking them to pieces when I turned up here.
