(Thalia)
'Listen Gwen I get it most of the city hates him as much as I do but I am not showing myself and getting involved with this cities politics. I left for a reason, I have a new home now and I prefer having the lack of stress that this place causes. If it was not for Lady Artemis's command I would not even be here. Why were you even outside at four in the morning anyway especially on this day?' Reyna argued with the older daughter of Mercury.
'I was visiting a friend to err. Give him a present.' She replied hesitantly.
'I take that back I don't want to know.' Reyna said firmly getting off the subject of former legionnaires love life.
'The point is Steven is a menace, he is like a cheaper pettier imitation of Octavian and you know much I hated him.' The girl argued causing Reyna to chuckle to herself.
'Last I checked he hadn't murdered you like Octavian did.' She explained causing the girl to turn red.
'Wait... what?' I asked catching up to what she just said.
'The sly little shit ran me through with a Pilum when he lost a war game. As you can see I got better.'
'Riight because that makes perfect sense. So glad that wasn't fatal case of the death.'
'So was I, it put a real downer on my mood, the underworld looked boring.' She joked.
'Been there done that.' I wasn't one to talk I had sort of skipped death myself by getting turned into a tree.
'So Reyna what were you doing out walking about in the middle of the night.' The Roman asked.
'Trying to find my dogs. Ever since I left I haven't been able to summon them.'
'Aurum and Argentum?'
'Yeah you know where they are.' Reyna asked surprisingly affectionately. I thought they were just a pair of metal automaton dogs by the way she had always spoken of them previously.
'You might want to try the Senate house.' Gwen said nervously and I could tell there was something wrong with the two hounds.
'Thank you-.' Reyna began before a loud thump could be heard several floors above us despite us being on the ground floor in the lounge to avoid waking the others. The good thing was it served to distract Reyna from the matter at hand.
'What was that?' She asked as neither of us seemed bothered by sound of clattering.
'A bumbling idiot most likely.' I explained just in time for Artemis to walk down the stairs and look between the trio of us with a raised eyebrow.
'You better not be talking about me Miss Grace.' She said seriously while Gwen looked in awe at the goddess.
'Of course not I was referring to the Seaweed Brain.'
'You better be... Who's this?'
'Gwendolyn , former Centurion, fifth cohort, ma'am.' She said rapidly dipping her head reverently to the goddess's amusement.
'You can calm down, I am not going to do anything.'
'I am sorry milady; it is just that I am not a maiden I should not be conversing with your huntresses.' She said not raising her head only for a guys laughing to echo down the stairs preceding his appearance.
'That's fine because neither is she.' He said his eyes glowing golden before fading as the goddess turned to face him furiously. While the former Centurion looked up wide-eyed.
'I am going to find a way to drag you out of that body and I will kill you, Perseus.' She threatened leaving the hapless alter ego blinking nervously.
'Wait... your Percy Jackson I thought you were dead?'
